I give up, congrats xjay... I can get up on my time by as much as 2 tenths but I just can't maintain it for the lap...
Quite a contest this week, well done mate.
It was very close indeed! I think we should be happy with our times. Thank you for pushing me! I was ready to give up a few days ago Quite a contest this week, well done mate.

I've enjoyed it, it's made such a big difference in my enjoyment and competitiveness because I actually found the time to put in some laps...my garden needs some attention this weekend though lol. I don't suppose you'd consider a week off as I've set a half decent time on Cadwell @Mark7389 - I've had an idea for the next championship. I'm going to look at RL motorsport events and try and find combos we can run at the same time that are as close to the RL event as possible. Will include historic/radical/national & club racing to try and get a good mix. If anybody spots an event coming up that would fit please shout up if you think this is a good idea...there will usually be a timing website for rl events so we can see how our times compare.

Hi all,
I've jumped into this and quite frankly haven't a clue where you're getting the extra 4 second from! Addictive!
Welcome to my world :-). Once you've done a few sessions, you'll get a handicap which helps enormously to compete in the handicap grid (I'm currently 3.8% but getting gradually better). When you use the pc uploader thing you can view your lap telemetry against the faster guys which helps a lot. I'm also inclined to believe the statement above from B2bS ;-)I've jumped into this and quite frankly haven't a clue where you're getting the extra 4 second from! Addictive!

I've also started looking at a driving line (well series of dot data points) map from the telemetry data, so you might be able to see if Mr Rocket Pants has found some sneaky shortcut compared to you. I'll get that done when normal British weather returns but that gives something for everyone to look forward to :-)Havoc856-S said:
Has anyone driven an Atom around Cadwell for real (I have)??? This handles NOTHING like it and is pretty awful as a whole. For now I'm just getting massively irate with it and not breaking any lower than 45.4
Not at Caldwell but I did at Bedford (Palmersports). You're right the real car feels far more planted and a lot more grippy, but check the speedo in the game. I think the game (any game) lacks the real sensation of speed and we're entering corners far faster than we would if our necks were on the line irl which is why the physics feel weird...just a theory.mark7389 said:
Right that's it, the championship is closed, the website is shut. I'm ahead of Xjay in real time. My life is complete (I know I've done 4 times as many laps as him, just a mere technicality)
I'm really struggling with this car on Such a tight track!!
Havock, i agree it feels weird.
