Project Cars Stoopid Challenges
Discussion
Due to being a bit of a dimwit, I've only just found you have a forum for the "Stoopid Challenge". I am andy_b on the Stoopid Challenge site. I have been using Assetto Corsa for a bit of fun racing. Now a convert to PC. Mark invited me to join in and I have enjoyed the challenge of playing, ops sorry, racing against real people. Looking forward to more challenges in the future.
OK boys and girls (speaking of which we need some of them, I'm going to get done by some right-on equality brigade, anyway I digress), we're up and running.
New championship has been entered in, I've checked all the car and track spellings and the aids settings and they all check out.
And we have a new website, not sure if it's better or worse, but it's different and different is good
Some of the changes are below:-
Instead of trying to show everything at once which was causing my poor little PC to die a thousand deaths, I'm showing a section at a time, more clicks for you, less work for my pc, soz about that.
VR icon for those VR addicts out there. Set it under account if you've got it.
More use of your picture/avatar, again of you go to account to load that up (square pictures work best)
Graphs are a bit clearer as to who you've selected.
Real-time handicapped slider makes it easier to flip between the two.
Real-time cups as well now, not just handicapped, Born2BSlow has most of them
I've cleared out some old data so that the championship number is aligned with when we started this in earnest and matches up with the cups won.
More to come, but I thought it was best to get it out there, let me know if you find anything obviously fecked.
Love and kisses
Mark

Heads up! If anyone on PC ever wanted to find out what all the fuss is about with iRacing, then it's time to get yourself a 12 month subscription in the Steam Summer sale for only £22.39.
I did the one month free trial before and for online racing it is great, I wanted to try it out in VR but didn't want to pay full price.

Have you got a link for that. Can't find the sale price you mentionI did the one month free trial before and for online racing it is great, I wanted to try it out in VR but didn't want to pay full price.
IRacing page on steam, then drop down the subs list. When you add to cart the discount is applied in the cart screen.
I think it's 12 months @£7 something a month, but in the cart it reduces to £22.39...
I've had to e-mail iRacing support, I didn't use Steam last time I signed up so it won't let me connect the 2 accounts as far as I can tell...
