It's fun without ABS on.
I will get some seat time this weekend. The Mrs is ditching me to go to Cardiff. We are doing some work on my friends car but I'll be on at some point.
That's me off top spot by the end of the weekend then lol smile

That's pretty much how it goes here, occasionally SC gets a look in but TC just slows you down...welcome aboard. I take it you are in PS4, those of us on PC occasionally get together if we notice we're in game at the same time but it's rare...life's just too bloody busy at the moment. More likely during the winter. If you want PS4 racing you should check out NxtGen on Facebook they run quite a few different series on PCars and Assetto Corsa for PS4, quite the thriving community...
Thanks, I might have to look into that.

Next championship has been setup for anyone who wants to get some early laps in.

Track names and car names checked that they match with udp feed and driving aids config applied

Got a few laps in, quite enjoyed that. I may miss the next one as i'm away for the ten days, but fair play to those who set this all up. Thumbs up!

No problems, you've sneaked in to the cut-off point for the top 10 League 1 entry for the next championship. You can always do a few laps of the next race in advance to try and sneak a few points if you want.

Enjoy your hols smile

Well I tried to overclock my pc, got a Xeon chip, seemed like a popular upgrade...

Trouble is I don't have a clue what I'm doing and now I can't get the Xeon stable and putting the old chip in does no good, cpu temps all sitting at 100c and I've no idea what I'm doing...

I don't know what I was thinking, the pc was running fine...

Did bios set wrong settings? default on my old asus / q6600 set it at wrong clock speed and voltage and kept BSOD'ing. Easy fix lol

Not sure if it's exhaustion from spending from 5pm till 10pm and then 10am till 7pm working outside in the rain changing the suspension on my mates car (racing driver excuses), but that'll do for tonight I think.

Got a bit of a sweat on laugh and my arm hurts.

Well I've rescued the PC from the jaws of disaster, only problem now is the RAM, with an overclock @4.2GHz I can't get the memory to 1066MHz, and at any other setting the DRAM can't be detected on startup. This is causing only 8/12 GB Ram to be recognised and the PC restarts 3 times every time I start it up (or restart it after an install) I can live with it until I get my new PC sorted, will then downclock it to get the RAM working when i give it to my daughter as she won't know any different.

I'm not cut out for this IT st...

No, but I don't use auto clutch either, it acts like TC when you're trying to accelerate...switching it off gains you time on the straights. smile

Just joined. I'm racing on an xbox using a wheel. Good slick interface and good to see my progress real time on the pc!

That's where the positives end...I am slow! I kept cocking up on the penultimate corner with the awkward apex - too much power and would slingshot it into the wall. My arm hurts now silly.

I'll try again with the new car/track in a couple of days.

Good news for you guys, with my PC effectively borked and me being off to sunny Bournemouth tomorrow I'm going to miss the first round of the next championship...possibly the 2nd too depending on what I do with the pc. Replacement x58 Mobo seems to be best option if I can't undo the damage I've done to this one...will have to wait to find out...

Don't miss me too much, in the words of Arnold..."I'll be back!"

Congrats on the handicapped championship Mark smile

And so another championship comes to an end.

In the Real-Time league Born2BSlow was already well out in front and brought it home in style with a victory in the race, making an impressive 5 first places and a 2nd place out of the 6 races.

In the Handicap Championship xjay1337 won the race but it was a magnificent effort by myself to hang on to 3rd and win the championship smile

So we have a new championship started and there are a few changes being introduced. The Handicap Championship stays the same, all of us lumped together and the points are 15-12-10-9-8 etc.

The Real-Time League though is now separated out into leagues and you should be able to see which league you're in on the website

All the times are still shown together but the one's that are not in your own league will be slightly grayed out. There'll be a promotion/demotion thing going on marked by the dotted line at the end of every championship and the points are 10-8-7-6-5 etc.

All clear smile
