Is anyone still playing it? After recently returning to PC after a PS4 I've started to get back into counterstrike. Played CS:S quite a bit on the laptop so still pretty much up to speed with it all.
Just deciding if I like the M4A4 or A1S better.
Most people I play with are on Arma or Battlefield, which i also play, but CSGO has me hooked again after a few hours of playing.

I still play quite regular although only DM, as I can't be arsed with all the ranking nonsense that most people get obsessed with.
Had some lucrative case drops a while back, two knives and a pair of gloves. Sold them all for £307!!
The skins and knives are quite surprising what they go for. I knew they went for quite a bit but when I was buying (cheap) skins earlier, there was an AWP for £8000. That's just ridiculous.Had some lucrative case drops a while back, two knives and a pair of gloves. Sold them all for £307!!
I've not played DM yet, suppose I should try it, I've been on casual (hate the free death cam on that) and competitive.
Been playing CS since beta 0.6, never really liked Source but Go is great.
I play CS:GO with a few friends in ranked matches every now and then, although it's quite annoying because if you don't play for a while you loose your rank and then you get match made with randomers
Haven't played since Christmas as one of the 'teams' PC has broken and he's not fixed it yet. I still play the odd 'Arms Race' though, that's my favourite casual mode.

I would fall in the randomers group lol.
Didn't know that you lost your rank not playing, that doesn't bode well for me, not that I'll ever have a decent rank
Is not that hard to get a decent rank, especially not in the Matchmaking system, all it takes is a decent mouse and mousepad + low sensitivity+ crosshair placement, you can get to Eagle, Eagle master without too much hassle. Oh I forgot, practice practice practice Didn't know that you lost your rank not playing, that doesn't bode well for me, not that I'll ever have a decent rank
I haven't been on in a week or so (Battlefield Hardline events / Arma etc) but getting back on soon. I think I'll look for some non comp servers just to have fun on, without cross team spectate on death. Just have to find some now.
A couple more comp games and my rank will be revealed, not expecting much to be honest lol. Although I tend to do ok.

Well, I've been practicing quite a lot recently and I've been doing quite well. I've stayed out of competitive play as I've been on my own mostly and always end up with 4 others who don't speak English. So I spent my time on some of the community servers which are set up like competitive, had quite a bit of fun.
I definitely lose interest after a couple of hours being alone or having to mute kids or foreigners that don't stop talking.
Had to resort to USA servers last night to at least be able to communicate.
If anyone recommends any community servers, I'd be very grateful.

Just started playing last week having not touched CS since 1.6
Competitive is hard... and I don't mean difficult. I've played 22 games so far, and only just last night finished my 10th win to get ranked at Gold 2. The amount of games with afk/leavers/trolling is unreal, or is it just because I am being match made with unranked who are likely to be new accounts set up for this very reason?

I've resorted to playing on Faceit. As the client side anti cheat means I've come across very few cheaters. Plus matchmaking is better and I've noticed a significant reduction in trolling.
Although, I've not played in a little while now. Fell into the PUBG craze and on battlefield a lot.

Still playing Faceit? I've got into it more recently as I too find it better than MM. Do you play the premium or the free servers? Although, I've not played in a little while now. Fell into the PUBG craze and on battlefield a lot.
