Bots have gone now, as long as you are not rubbish, only in games for new players.

Not as good as it was though, not sure they’ve done but it just isn’t as good.

They have finally put the maps on random, rather than letting use choose. So less bots in game. Still far too much loot though. All the ranked matches are squad also.

There was some data that only around 1 in 8 games had bots. It was on Twitter/Reddit

See, I think, 9.0 or 9.1 too.

I always look at my pubg stats, haven’t had bots in a match for a while.

As I said, they only have 6 server queues now, whereas previously they had 30. So no need for bots.

There's still plenty of bots in the game, I played a few rounds last night with my friend in Duos and they were everywhere. All too often you're in a building, hear someone wandering around outside, and after a moment's investigation, you find the bot just stood at a door - seems they can't open them, as we've seen several occasions of "players" running up to closed doors and just standing there.

Also the bots just seem to make a beeline for you, or when you start shooting at one in the distance they seem to start running backwards and forwards over a small spot in an attempt to hide - the AI is clearly not well programmed!

My friend and I have been playing PUBG on and off since it came out, and these days its very much just something we'll do late on a Friday or Saturday night just to chat and have something to play in the background, we don't take it seriously (nor are we all that good!), but the lack of map selection is really quite annoying. We prefer the original map, and often now have to jump in and out of games until we find it, or put up with shorter rounds on smaller maps.

I recall them taking away the map selection a few years ago, but it soon came back, hopefully they'll do the same again - I don't really care much about the fact bots are in game, I can actually get some kills against them!

Anyone playing metro royale on PUBG mobile? Much harder , better bots too.

Seems like PUBG is all but dead now. I've had a few games recently and wondered why some of the players seemed a bit crap as I was getting some easy kills - they were bots!

Shame really - it was a great game when it was 'busy'.

What has everyone moved on to?

COD Warzone for me & mates. Used to play Pubg religiously but when WZ came out it's just far more sociable, less running sim and you get a second chance etc.

i do like pubg and prefer the gun play etc but it could be a slog at times.

I’ve not found this to be the case, I’ve recently come back to the game and I’ve barely come across any.

1 bot out of 96
7 bots out of 100
6 bots out of 97
5 bots of of 97


Also if you choose “ranked” there are no bots at all

Problem with warzone for me is I had played pubg for months prior, warzone just feels less atmospheric, and the gunplay just doesn’t compare for the kind of game.

Ah maybe I'm choosing the wrong game types. I do find the lobby interface a bit awkward!

Well there’s “normal” and “ranked”

Normal has bots however those games I just listed are all normal mode, however there’s still barely any bots, as I said “ranked” has no bots at all

The Pubg app, it has all sorts of info including all your matches with leaderboards for each match, see below, PlayStation and Xbox logos are players, and the bot symbol for bots, #57 in this list is a bot
