So, do you think that anyone at Polyphony who's worked on GT Sport has driven a FWD car before? Been racing the Megane road car and it understeers more than my Coupe 20VT does in the damn snow! It's laughable.

Been having a lot better races and after going back to the Campaign tasks, I'm surprised at how much faster I am now (maybe I shouldn't be surprised). Definitely need more tracks though.

Front wheel drive physics have never worked on any version of GT.

I don't drive them.

I thought GT6 FWD physics were pretty good and much better than GT Sport.

You can't load the front tyres properly... and there's zero lift off oversteer... just massive understeer. Everywhere.

You have to drive the cars in the way the game wants you to, not how you would approach it in real life.

I've had a bit of a Megane week! Used it in the Gr4 at Panarama and Infield A and it was a missile, don't rush it in or out of the corner and it just flies...Same with the road version, not the most fun to use but some good racing smile

BTW, Stotty your BH GP time yesterday was mental.

Is it me or has the RSR become much less stable, particularly on corner exit.

My Gr3 car to go to was the Viper and something has happened to it as now it just understeers and is nowhere near as fast as it used to be.

Thanks!

To be honest, I ran the session without looking what time I needed for a top 10. I was really inconsistent last night and miles off my optimum - felt really frustrated with my driving. Came out, and saw I was 7th laugh

I left at least 0.3-0.4 out there.

Interesting comment on the RSR... I did think it was struggling for traction out of Druids and Surtees. Just assumed it was me because I hadn't driven the RSR at Brands for a while.

Even Stirling's. My Opt. was a high 1:22 but I could not put that lap together. I must have had ten good laps screwed by struggling out of Stirling's or squirming off after the crest on to the start finish straight. The car is definitely different. I've got 6,300 miles on mine so I think I know it reasonably well. After one update I moved the brake balance to offset the change, such a tweak didn't work this time.

Not going to make a judgement based on yesterday... I'd been out Wednesday night, had 4 hours sleep, followed by a 11 hour day at work... I was half asleep running laps last night laugh

Having said that, I've got 2 RSR's and I think well over 12k on them in total... so I should know how they feel to drive!!

Is the F1500 Championship trolling me? No matter how well or fast I think I'm doing the AI always seems to be the next corner ahead.

Silly question here all so apologies in advance but can the DR/SR rating increase within the lobbies or does it have to be in Sport mode only? I ask as I've been on DR "B" for ages and can't get over the 26,000 point mark to get to "A". Had some right A-holes bumping me off making me lose precious DR points and would like some decent, clean races so I can get to "A".

Doing a bit of Campaign mode.

Great to see even Kaz uses rubber banding in his "simulation"

You know you get to the leader who is lapping 1.45's.

Then as soon as you pass him his pace miraculously increases to 1.39's

And why am I driving some of the worlds best cars on tyres so utterly crap they all feel like jellies.

So much so that the AI are spinning, going off track routinely.

Such a great "sim" Durrrrrr.

Cheers. Looks like I'll be staying in B for quite some time then.

Update due Friday.

Hopefully some new tracks... and not shorter versions of the ones we already have FFS.

Probably.

I want Spa so badly... such an amazing circuit, and racing grp2 & 3 there would be awesome.

All the tracks they have in their library. Really hope they do something to meet expectations.

Fear would be another Tokyo ringroad?!
