Might be worth having a look at Calster25's lap he uses DS4.
Obviously you can't see the steering input, settings or brake balance but I can't replicate that. I've got understeer where he's neutral, the rear end of the car is all over the place and he's got front end grip and rotation in that corner where I've just got plough on understeer at anything over 70mph. Can't understand the physics and BOP excludes anything other than the Supra.
Still can't replicate but down to 1:33.2, with an opt. of 1:32.8

Track limits are worth a bit, I can't get the car stable enough to take advantage.

Good job...There's a practice lobby for Mini Madness at 6pm if anyone fancies a change of pace.

Apart from the love/hate relationship in regards to last week's Race B, I had some pretty great results in both Races A & C. I'd be a happy person if they kept those races for this week also smile

A was great last week! This weeks races don't look that interesting, I hope they'll be more fun than they look. MM on Sunday, that should be fun smile

Did a couple of B's but were a bit....meh, C was much more fun, enough fuel saving so you have to keep an eye on it, same with tyre wear, and Catalunya keeps you busy! Doubt I'll win any though, some people are ridiculously fast smile Had a funny penalty, last lap, last corner, 911 in front runs out of juice, I pass him and get a 3 sec penalty for passing under yellow!

If anyone fancies some longer races, there's a Gr3 Asia Cup starting next month..it's for all levels, and is a good way to get into the league type races.

Some interesting combos this week. Dragon Trail is such a tough track to get the best lap put together on.

I've only done C this week, doing it on my second account, no qually and start from the back, it's a strange race, you don't have to go fast if you fuel save, so you end up with big groups just fuel saving, it's been surprisingly good fun though.

I watched Kie's stream earlier in the week so been using the Jag and had three ok(ish) results despite being spun off twice by rammers and also making my own errors.

Tidgney's stream was great and I just don't know how he manages to start from the back, fuel save and get a good result. That fella is an alien.

Looks as though Spa is in the update tomorrow. Controversy in the world tour nations final, IOF and lightning fell out after a dirtyish move by IOF.

I don’t think spa has been confirmed as coming tomorrow. https://www.gtplanet.net/gt-sport-update-v1-42-arr...

Only mentions 5 cars and rain which looks to be redbull ring only

Some dubious tactics from Fraga for sure. The X2019 obviously favours him so I think he'd probably have won anyway but he chose to employ a couple of strategies which pissed Hizal off. With a handful of laps to go Hizal had a tyre advantage and had closed up behind him. Firstly, he pulled over coming out of La Source and let him by so he could draft and overtake up Kemmel. Then he lifted all the way through Eau Rouge so Hizal had to brake and lost all momentum. He'd also run him wide a couple of times as Hizal tried to make a clean pass. Hizal then dropped back, apparently to save fuel but I think he'd just spat the dummy. The lift got Fraga a 5 second penalty but because Hizal had backed right off he had almost 6 seconds, so still won with the penalty. Plenty of others would have just pushed Fraga off. There was footage of other races watching the replay and being properly pissed off with Fraga's tactics. Salzburg should be interesting. The coverage was decent and the interviews afterwards are worth watching.

The elimination round was in the Super Formula cars at Blue Moon, I guess to replicate Indy for the US venue, and it looked like a bunch of SR E players going at it; total farce!

Yeah..my bad, It seems a strange move by PD, use a track in a world final that a lot of people have been crying out for, then don't release it!

I don't think Fraga or Cody did themselves any favours in the popularity stakes, the repecharge could have been a great race, but with a place in the final at stake and the heat of battle, it all got a bit silly, and it did look like a friday night SR E lobby, PD need to get strict with the dirty driving, it doesn't make for a great spectacle.

Anyone enjoying the rain at the Redbull Ring? I have to admit that I'm enjoying doing silly drifting but also love trying to hone my wet driving skills. Used to love the seasonal events on GT6 where there was rain at certain tracks including Spa.

Dropped 1K points during two race A races. Some people just don't care do they? I don't think I can get out of DR B due to Morons from Outer Space but I'm trying.

I'm finding that the inters are giving quicker lap times and just feel "grippier" than the full wets during back to back testing, anyone else having the same experience?

To be honest, I've been using Sport Soft in the wet just to see how they cope. They're quite grippy when you're pushing 50% but can give some proper under/oversteer when going for it. May end up playing a bit more tonight.

I've been enjoying the wet racing, lobby setting with off track grip set to real is a bit tricky, especially in Gr3, apparently TT mode has grip set to low and is up to 5 secs a lap faster. Depending on time of day inters can be faster, and N class was fine on sports soft, one thing I found in Gr3 was that changing the fuel map was better for me than using TC. I did Kie's first practice lobby on Tuesday, 12 laps x 7 tyre wear, in Gr3.. it was hilarious! half the lobby quit smile

I watched Kie's lobby, well half of it and I was cracking up at his reactions to almost losing it. I must join but at the mo I just can't get out of the B rating.

I played during the day before he was streaming, storm won by 50 secs smile, think DR/SR was set to D/D, pretty sure he has his streaming lobbies set to friends only, took him a couple of weeks to accept my request, even then you have to be lucky to make it in the evening lobbies. I was stuck in DR B for ages, I'm only 35000 on my daily account (Bemsee94), my trevonick account I only use for GTPlanet events.
