Got the la Ferrari last night, that thing is bonkers fast. Does it make a difference to which prize car you get if you achieve all golds or not in the campaign stuff?
Me too! I do think it's random as i've recieved the same car twice.

Yeah, It's random. When the "Roulette" wheel of light slows down I always seem to get the car I least want. Yesterday I was hoping for a LeMans racer but got an Audi TT!?!?!?

The LaFerrari is ballistic but actually quite controllable.

I've got quite a few duplicates... :-/

todays patch has changed the DS controller motion sensitivity... I thought there was a setting in game to change it, but can't find it!

I've not got any in class duplicates yet - I have one or two across classes - e.g. I have a gr3 GT-R and a N class one too, but nothing too bad.

There's a new VGT car that has been unveiled, proper ugly it is.

Just a quick feeler on how many would be interested in racing in a PH championship running Group 4 cars on the following rules? (these can be amended)

Time

Race Nights on Wednesdays (can be changed to suit the majority)

20:30 - lobby opens
20:45 - qualifying begins
21:00 - Race 1 begins (lasts about 15 mins)
21:15 - Break
21:30 - Race 2 (Reverse Grid)

Cars

Group 4 cars, complete freedom over liveries/numbers/cars and can be changed freely between race nights

Driving Aids

ABS and TCS allowed
Colin...hello!!! thumbup

I haven't bought the game yet, still getting my head around the horrible handling mess that is F1 2017 (the sooner my playseat arrives, the better). Might jump into the folder at some point though.
You still causing chaos then? 😂

I'm very much up for this Colin. Your other championships were always very well managed.
Thanks, ideally would like at least 6 so can make it enjoyable for all skill levels

Feels easier to control with a pad when the back steps out now.

I've had a few duplicate cars now.

The Chapparell is a bit slow to get going at first, but insane once its up to speed.

Anyone else got the Honda track car looking thing? Pretty disappointed. Looks ace but the gear changes are dog slow which sucks all the fun out of it.

Bit concerned at the lack of older stuff. I hope they address that. Not much interest in the silly VGT cars. As I said, it's more like Wipeout.

Worried that they said there would be no 'standard' cars, not sure what benchmark they are using but sick to death already of all this Grp X stuff, never going to use it, for me its Grp 4 at a push, I want more lower classed cars, Caterhams, Evokes, Radicals and old classics (particularly rally), Lotus Cortina, original Mini, MkII Escort, Manta, Stratos, 037, RS200 etc and classic track cars RS500, M3, 635csi, XJS

Those older cars stated are ones I've wanted to be in the game since GT3!

Finally managed to win the 15 minute endurance mission race last night by half a car length. To me that was an ordeal.

Picked it up on Sunday. Probably going to get sacked by Friday due to the complete lack of work getting done.

I've become utterly obsessed with the Nurburgring track test - I've managed to get gold in all of the individual sections quite easily - but I cannot get gold on a complete lap - best is one tenth out. I've been on it since 8:30 this morning - it's not healthy. banghead

Same here, have gold on all other tracks (even the rally ones), and the individual sections of Nordschleife, but am missing gold by a few seconds on the full lap. Pain in the backside when you're making really good progress only to accidentally end up on the grass in the latter stages and having to do it all again

Am i missing something? If i want to avoid the mayhem of online racing i seem to be stuck with arcade mode?? Or the 3 races that start at set times. Whatever happened to doing 10 rounds of a championship.

Tried it with the controller earlier as the Mrs has insisted the wheel and stand 'not be in the living room all the bloody time' so had to put it away. Since update it seems overly sensitive, OK for grinding the ovals but crap on circuits.

Finally got gifted the Porsche so can start my first paint on that tomorrow.
