When I bought my One S to replace my Day One XO, it was as simple as signing in and all save games, settings etc were saved in the cloud and automatically applied. All I had to do was re-download the games and apps. I'd assume the same will be true of the process to transfer between One S and One X.

I'm not very technical so was wondering if anyone knows what would be the best way to transfer games onto X? I know I could get a external hard drive but I wanted to just use the X memory. And since it took over 12 hours to download Pcars 2 I wondered if there was a quicker way
There is a tile on the Xbox home screen (scroll down to see it) that should have options boxes ticked on it. One of those options is for transferring on your home network. Essentially, you can run the Xbox One and the Scorpio together and transfer saves and game files over your network rather than having to put stuff on hard drives or download it all again.

That's a useful tip, it'll save a lot of time messing about with big downloads.Essentially, you can run the Xbox One and the Scorpio together and transfer saves and game files over your network rather than having to put stuff on hard drives or download it all again.

Thank for that, will that be much quicker than downloading? Essentially, you can run the Xbox One and the Scorpio together and transfer saves and game files over your network rather than having to put stuff on hard drives or download it all again.
Are you able to join the two Xboxs together and transfer games?

Or are you all talking about something else?
I think he simply means you can transfer all your save games, apps and game installs from the old Xbone to the new XboneX to save you having to download all that content again.
Remember when the Xbox 360 had that widget for you to transfer content from Xbox 360 to Xbox 360 Slim? It'll probably work in much the same way.

If you have two xboxes in one house, don’t you just make one the home Xbox and auto log in on the other, then all your libraries get shared between the two anyway.

I'm talking about permanently transferring data to the Scorpio hard drive using your home network. I've not used the game share function before but essentially, the tools are now online on the Xbox One to facilitate rapid transfer to the Scorpio using your home network. Or are you all talking about something else?

Hmm, any where in the UK still "stocking" Scorpios?
Or cheekily, anyone not want theirs anymore but still have the reservation...

Anyone see the news from the Paris games week yesterday? bit disappointed we have to wait until the 12th December for PUBG to come to the preview programme, thought they might push for a dual launch next week. Even so, that's going to be massive.
Main reason I haven't ordered one yet is because I have a 1080p TV and a 1080P Projector.. how is one of these likely to look on the projector?
4K versions are unpalatabley expensive at the moment, I've got to spend over £1k on my home cinema set up in the next 6 months so £2k on a projector when the current one is fine seems a bit ridiculous when I'm supposed to be saving for a house
Are there going to be games that wont play on the original Xbox One now? that's the only thing that would really make me buy the new one even if they wont look as great (Skull & bones next year, I'm really looking forward to)

No everything that will play on vanilla One will also run on One X. No exclusives. Games may load / run faster and look better. If you have any specifically enhanced titles they should look better. Google Tomb Raider and Xbox One X enhancements should give you an idea. 4K versions are unpalatabley expensive at the moment, I've got to spend over £1k on my home cinema set up in the next 6 months so £2k on a projector when the current one is fine seems a bit ridiculous when I'm supposed to be saving for a house

Had a text (not an email) this morning from Argos to confirm Scorpio edition was on its way and would be delivered on release date. Oddly, it then says "To track your order, use ref. Shipped in the UK Mail website".
"Shipped" seems like an odd reference, and sure enough, the UK Mail website doesn't recognise it. Anyone else pre-ordered with Argos and had the same message?

I'm in the same boat, I've got a 1080p 3d TV that cost circa £3k just 3 years ago, it still has 2 years left on the warranty and I'm loathe to change it just yet.4K versions are unpalatabley expensive at the moment, I've got to spend over £1k on my home cinema set up in the next 6 months so £2k on a projector when the current one is fine seems a bit ridiculous when I'm supposed to be saving for a house

It wouldn't be so bad if my old TV was worth selling on Gumtree, but who wants to pay £1k for a 1080p TV?
And it's way too big for the bedroom or even my home office/study.
I'm getting the console anyway, I love my Xbox
