It's so painfully slow. Although compared to the previous advanced movement games that's not a massive shock.

The problem is slow games rapidly closes the skill gaps. On Black Ops 3, for example, you could kill one person then move quickly away from that area so the person who has just seen your fight on the radar can't just turn up.

With WW2 you have no chance of moving anywhere so anyone who suddenly turns up can simply trade the kill. Which they will because it takes 4 days for health to regenerate.

If the next game is BO/4 as the rumours suggest, then hopefully we'll see the pace a lot quicker even if it's boots on the ground once more.

Had my first game last night after two or three months of PUBG, my god it is easy in comparison, don't think I went below 3/1 in 5-8 games.

should have been in the lobby I was in the other day. Full of Master prestige's all over 100. Was fun even though I only just made it out with a positive KD.

Is it still a grenade fest?

That’s how I remember it from the first time around. Pretty intense close quarters and then you get spammed by a grenade. Over and over.

Still playing this a lot, but if you get in the wrong game it becomes a tedious spawn kill fest. I can tell within 30secomds whether I am going to win a match or not by how my teammates start.

Yeah i still play quite a bit. Ticked over to Prestige 5 last night. I quite like Shipment, but you want to be in the armoured division or using hunkered.

The leprechaun featured mode can be fun. It's nice to get the opportunity to use the top end kill streaks like the ball turret gunner a few times. Not worth the cost IMO.

Adding a bunch of new content is good too as i was getting a ridiculous amount of duplicates from drops.

I just get obsessed with completing things like prestiging this or that or getting gold guns. At the moment i'm closing in on the gold BAR. I've not been enjoying the BAR at all. Average fire rate, poor accuracy, low damage, small magazine, objstructive iron sights. Redeeming features? Ermmmm..... It's been nerfed into oblivion for me and as soon as i get gold i won't be using it again.

Christ, that's even worse! I saw it got buffed a few weeks ago, but i'd imagine that only saw it get upgraded from unusable to total garbage.

I've got all gold snipers, a gold grease gun and PPSH and a gold STG44 and Volkswagen. Weirdly, with the BAR the thing i've really struggled to get is the long shots, which has just been a gimme with the other guns that and I've got while completing the other tasks. It got to the point where i wondered if it wasn't bugged. I hit some seemingly very long shots that didn't count. So i thought i'd try at an even longer range, like cross-map on Gustav, and it just isn't accurate or powerful enough.

Bar needs 4x scope, advanced rifling and fmj. Makes life a bit easier when going for gold on it.

Thanks thumbup

I've tried various combos, thinking, for example, that the grip would help. I realised after my last attempt that i'd not been using advanced rifling getmecoat

I've never considered the 4x scope. Probably because i'm not usually a fan, but i'll definitely give it a go.

It’s slow going and you have to pick your map. Think I’m on 350 kill mark.

Operation Griffin is good for long shots. Especially when you have to steal the fuel.

As for shipment, armoured and requisition are best. Endless carpet bombing on that map. Managed to get diamond on the melee weapons on there biggrin

Just had a quick TDM to give the 4x / fmj / advanced rifling class a go. Managed to pick up 4 long shots in the one game I played on Gibraltar, so i now have 8 of the 10 needed. Handily enough, me and some other bloke got involved in a mini 1 vs 1 along the bridge in the center of the map. He was on the lower side of the map lying prone with a Lewis on its bipod. I was at the higher end creeping out on one knee with the BAR. I reckon overall we probably killed each other the same amount of times, but he always returned to the same spot so it was about 4 each. I can only assume he was going for a bipod challenge while I was going for the long shots. So i imagine we both walked away happy smile

I'd be tempted to swap out fmj for grip and see what the difference is as the 4x scope bounces around quite a bit at long range, to the point where i starting tap-firing. Surprisingly good at mid range though.

I think for Shipment HC Ricochet would probably be the way to go. I had a couple of good games on Shipment yesterday. For whatever reason, whilst it was still very fast paced it didn't feel quite as insane as it did on MWR.

Following the advice above i unlocked the gold BAR, which was a happy moment. Not least of all because it meant i could pick a new gun to main for a while. I settled on the FG42 and it was a game-changing beast of a thing. I might have just had a very good connection, but compared to the BAR it was lazer accurate and really felt like it was doing damage. My KDR went wayyyy up and i was just enjoying playing a whole lot more all of a sudden. Only trouble i had was the small magazine (without extended mags or infantry at least) meant i kept running out of bullets. I already had 600 kills with it, but i really don't remember it being that good.

Glad my tips for the bar where useful. FG42 was OP before they nerfed it. Slow RPM but if you get the first shot in your onto a winner.

Played shipment yesterday. God I love that map except the spawn killing tts at A that shot through the container with a LMG. bds! Anyway Within 2 games I had 100 one shot kills using the Luftwaffe drilling. Not looking forward to getting 5 blood thirsty medals with it though might have to be a bit tactical with that challenge rather than just piling round like a mad man. Already got gold on the combat shotgun so hoping to get diamond shotguns over the weekend.

Actually really enjoyed this when it first came out. Sadly I haven't put much time into it recently due to other commitments. How is the DLC? Worth bothering with?

Average to be honest.

I'd agree with that. The only thing i'd add is that a fair criticism of the base game at launch was that there wasn't many maps. The DLC 1 package didn't contain many more (3 standard maps plus 1 War map) but all are welcome!

As an aside, I opened up some of the Weapon Supply Drops (5,000 armoury credits each) as i never seem to use my credits apart from occasional credits. Are they worth it? No. I didn't particularly read the fine pint, but it would seem each is only guaranteed to contain something to do with a weapon. It could be a common recticle or a common weapon charm. I was fortunate and in the second box got the new LMG. If i'd have stopped there then 10,000 credits for the LMG would have been a good deal. Instead i bought another 3 (you can only buy 5) and got the aforementioned charms and recticles. Overall, 25,000 credits is roughly break-even compared to buying the bits of the collection to get the gun, but I think I was lucky. Could easily have got nothing interesting.

It's a shame they seem to have stopped the initial approach of putting all new weapons in special orders. I thought that was a fair system.
