The closest got to a V2 was about a month ago on the map V2. I had an insanely good connection that evening and was unkillable in a straight 1 vs 1. The people at the other end must have been fuming as i was killing them before they got a shot off. I ended up with what i think is my longest ever streak in any CoD at 30 kills (previous best was 28 in MW2 iirc). I was running UAV, glide bomb and mortar rounds, so clearly i had at least 6 streak kills hence no V2. I quite like not knowing how many gun kills i had as if it was 24 that would have been galling to say the least. I was eventually killed while calling in a streak. As evidence of how good the connection was, i was using the blunderbuss! Whilst it's an excellent gun in exactly the right moment, i would never have chosen it to build a streak.
Can't say I'm keen on Calvary either, but having reached max prestige in every other division it's the only one left where i still earn division XP. Have you tried running it with the Wanderlust? You bin the shield and rotate between other weapons. That's how i use it, basically for the fun of using Wanderlust whilst still ranking up a division.
No way on earth i'd ever reach chrome. It took me long enough to unlock the Leopard camo (the weapon prestige 4 one that's 25 triple kills or 100 headshots with snipers) for 3 of the guns!

Yup, like you it was one of those games where the connection and everything seemed to work in my favour. Played around with Wunderlust, it's good fun but never tried it with Calvary as I tend to use airbourne or Mountain. Only prestige Calvary once so might give it a go.
As for Chrome, well shipment helps a lot

Agreed, it's a great gun. I started using it again recently as i dropped a heroic version of it. Combined with extended mags and Escalation you can just keep hosing bullets. I think my all time favourite has to be the Volkssturmgewehr (yes, i had to copy and paste the spelling!) Totally shreds at any range.Do you think you'll get Black Ops IIII? As it stands i can't say I'm planning to, but i might get it down the line. I think it's a shame that just as any CoD game starts to get really good they release a new one. WWII is a much better game now than it was a launch, with more maps and guns, the headquarters system has been resolved, the divisions entirely rejigged and new ones added, but player numbers have dwindled.

New division coming with the DLC4 drop and a new War game. Something about UFOs, Super solider serum and the return of the Tesla gun (sigh). Looks pretty good going by the trailer.

It sounds like there are a number of the super serums in War, one of which will allow you to see enemies though walls in much the same way as if they cross into the out of bounds area at present. Probably not as effective as it sounds because in War, you've typically got a good idea where the enemy are, or at least where they'll be coming from.
Made my way to to heady heights of prestige 9 thanks to double XP last weekend.
