Pouring shots is fun
that mission seemed glitched to me, in the chase scene i was forced to use a scoped rifle, if i switched to using revolvers it wouldn't work and none of the controls would work. I'd just end up sitting there waiting for all those giving chase to kill me, had to skip that part of the mission to finish it.shirt said:
How do you get a horse to follow you? I have done this when taming and just whistling to my original horse, but would be useful to have another couple when out hunting
it's up on the d-pad (ps4) to whistle for your horse. with newly calmed/acquired horses you need to bond with them enough for the notification to say you've reached level 1 bonding. from there on that horse will follow you whenever you whistle. bear in mind that it's only level 1 so the distance you can whistle it to follow is not as large as other bonding levels.on this occasion i went to do a robbery in the middle of nowhere with my 1 horse. I picked up one of the horses from the location and bonded with it. whistled my main horse to follow. after bonding i found another horse, i calmed it, bonded with it. then whistled, I then had my main horse and the calmed horse following me (while riding the one i just calmed).
reason i ask this is i cant see much data on how much horses can sell for (i'm only at chapter 3)., i think it would be pretty hilarious to calm & bond a dozen horses and have them all follow you to the person you can sell horses to for better money than you can stables.

I'm yet to play it online but..i'm not sure why people are whigning about how much things cost. From what i understand the gold bars are for purchasing things you aren't a high enough level to unlock yet.. so obviously it's going to be impractical trying to grind for that, just level up/earn money and once you unlock it then buy it. the gold bars seem to relate to microtransactions, which is nothing new, but in GTAV it was never forced. The thing is still a beta so i'm sure R* will make adjustments, they did the same with GTAO and how much you earned.
Just read up about a location North of Saint Denis that spawns all horses randomly, wish I knew about it before I spent money on a turkoman only afew hours earlier! the first time i went to the location I found a missouri fox trotter. spend about 30min going back and forth respawning all sorts, eventually a white arabian spawned, took it to my stable for safe keeping.
being good will increase the discount on store purchases and unlock outfits.. at it's max you can get 50% discount on things.
being bad increases the drop rate and yeild rate from when you loot enemies. at it's max you're more likely to pick up items that will restore your dead eye, and better drop rates rarer items, throwing knives, more loot etc..

Same, I'm only at chapter 4 but have quite alot of money, have bought a good horse (turkoman), I picked up a white arabian with the random spawn glitch but aren't using it, everythings been upgraded.
I think once you've earnt a couple of thousand money isnt an issue anymore, I remmeber in chapter 2 thinking to myself 'fk, i just gave myself a bounty of $50 and i've only got $200 on me!' I would make sure to loot every enemy so I could sell their valuables for cash. not much of an issue now but i only do it incase someone has something rare/missable.

surely the bounty means walking around town isn't a good idea, if police spot you the chase is on.
only thing that annoys me about bounty hunters coming after you is that sometimes i want to nick their horse and ride away with it. but soon as you shoot them off the horse bolts it, never to be seen.

Having not played my PS4 all year i fired it up the other day to play this. I think i reached chapter 5 or 6 in my other save, with 53% completion. however i I'm starting from scratch.
Gotta be careful with that auto save feature, otherwise you end up saving over your old saves, its stupid.
In all my previous games I'd use the top save for my first game, then use the slots at the very bottom for any new games. tried to do this with this game, however you can't deliberately choose to have the bottom save slot, it just organises your saves by most recent.

How far into the game are you? There are some you can only do after completing other tasks, etc.
Same with the fish, which I didn't realise til after I'd finished the game.
