Nintendo classic mini SNES
Discussion
Loving mine, what a great little thing!
To be honest I never really played the Nes classic very much as being born in '83 meant it was a little before my time. However as we had a Sega Megadrive and I only ever played Snes at friends houses, playing this is like playing a lost bit of childhood!
Mariokart is fantastic although a little jarring on the eyes at first having just played through MK8 on switch. Games have definitely got easier these days though!
Sadly I've heard it's very unlikely that there will be an N64 Classic, but Sega need to jump on the bandwagon and make a mini Megadrive with; Streets of rage 2, Desert/Jungle Strike, Road Rash etc.

There's no need as there's been a licenced version available for years:http://www.argos.co.uk/product/3816789
They just have problems with sound emulation etc being not quite right.
Sega have neither the production facilities nor the financial clout to be able to bring something like this market these days, hence why it's been farmed out to companies such as AT Games.

I wasn't going to buy one as I didn't want to play into the short-stock hype, but my wife managed to get me one by complete luck . She was up late looking for birthday presents on the Smyths Toys website, saw the SNES mini and thought I'd like it so bought me one.
She found it odd that 20 minutes later they were all sold out... Sheer luck!
Plugged it in last night. Took a while to get used to the graphics again but the games have lost none of their charm! 20+ years since I last played SMW but the muscle memory is still there - best game ever!
I'm now tempted to dig out my old NES from wherever it's been stored for the last few decades. I don't think the mini version could have the charm of the original... If you don't have to spend as long blowing on the cartridge as you do playing the game, then what's the point?

Goldeneye won't happen, as it's a Rare game and Microsoft own Rare now.
Donkey Kong Country is on the Mini SNES though.CoolHands said:
fk I feel sick. Message to say it had been delivered at 7.38am this morning from Royal Mail tracked. It's not fking here! Some postie has probably nicked it. Delivery address is a school and I've checked our cctv - no fking delivery entered our premises at all, the lying wkers. Only option is to send a message on nintendo site which I've done.
I've had to go down the item not delivered route with Nintendo, which means I'll get a refund which is obviously not what I want.So if anyone wants to sell me theirs as they're not using it / kids don't like it or whatever please send me a message, cheers

Well there is Goldeneye Source on PC, even though it has a rather sad development story.https://youtu.be/-E4XtdEnWx4
