Goldeneye won't happen, as it's a Rare game and Microsoft own Rare now.
Donkey Kong Country is on the Mini SNES though.Steve Evil said:

Sadly I've heard it's very unlikely that there will be an N64 Classic, but Sega need to jump on the bandwagon and make a mini Megadrive with; Streets of rage 2, Desert/Jungle Strike, Road Rash etc.
there was a sega megadrive collection available on the PS3 years ago - ive got it somewhere. it had some crackers on it!https://www.amazon.co.uk/SEGA-Mega-Drive-Ultimate-...

Had a laugh yesterday. Took the SNES along to a family gathering for us of the right age to enjoy.
We let my nephew have a go on Mario Kart. He just couldn't get it.
The only things he has ever played on are Ipad and Wii. He simply couldn't get it into his head that he needed to push buttons to steer rather than turn the controller.
We tried all sorts of ways to teach him and he eventually moved on to just holding left and go and going round in circles while turning the pad to the right.
The only way we eventually got anywhere was for his dad to hold the nephews hands still then it became go forward a bit turn a bit forward a bit turn a bit but it was taking a few secs a time for him to figure out which button to press to turn the way he wanted.
He is coming up to 5 years old and isn't a daft kid he just could not compute the buttons.
We found out Nintendo never imagined anyone could be that bad when they made the game as the race timer stopped at 09.59.99.

Had exactly the same thing with my niece and nephew, touch screen demons but were screwed when it came to the Snes joypads. We let my nephew have a go on Mario Kart. He just couldn't get it.

Mate of mine was on holiday in Portugal last week and phoned me up to say he was in one of the supermarkets (jumbo) in Faro and they had 4 of them on the shelf so picked me one up.
He them messaged me an hour later saying they had them in stock at another shop as well (fnac a bit like HMV)
Seems like it's either not as popular over there or they had more stock than the UK.

Not as popular would be my guess. This website shows total gaming spend per country:https://newzoo.com/insights/rankings/top-100-count...
If someone asked me out of the blue, i'd have said the countries with the biggest gaming culture were, in no particular order, America, the UK, Japan and South Korea.
I've no idea how accurate that websites figures are, but if you take their figures and calculate the per capita gaming spend per annum you get:
1. Japan $100
2. South Korea $82
3. USA $77
4. UK $64
5. Portugal $27
So my guess is it's just not popular in Portugal.
Yeah smashed em all in 150cc including special cup. The Donut plains first race in special cup is the worst.
But then I did spend like 2 years of my life playing that game so it's come back quite naturally. I have played it with a few people who had never played it before and they really can't get to grips with the unique handling

Donkey Kong or Bowser are my characters of choice if I want to win.
It's all about mastering their weight and using it to your advantage, as their sheer bulk will knock smaller drivers out of the way. The key to success is correctly powersliding around bends with them as their weight again helps to maintain composure and a decent exit line.
