Nintendo classic mini SNES
Discussion
Glad i waited for this.
Nintendo weren't lying when they said there would be no shortage this time, i've just received my SNES Classic which i paid less than RRP (£69) for from Amazon. It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that scalpers would have picked up loads of them from the first batch and are now sitting on consoles that they can't make any profit on because there are plenty of them to go around.
The lack of co-op games is a bit disappointing. There are some 2-player games on it but they're based on taking turns rather than playing at the same time. Mario Kart, Street Fighter and Contra 3 are the only ones that are "proper" multiplayer. Nevertheless i'm happy with it.

Anyone find super ghouls and ghosts slows down in places?
I remember the original had the same issue so i guess you can say it’s accurate emulation. Those bluetooth controllers look tempting, anyone tried them ?
In the news today there's something about Microsoft and Nintendo teaming up for marketing and cross play type stuff.
Wonder if this is a good sign for the N64 mini release with Microsoft now owning a lot of the game rights through rare?

Given as they're back in stock at the standard price, it would be rude not to order one. Even though I own most of the games psychically, the ease of use, HDMI and save states are a big plus (yes I could just emulate, but it's never the same.) Looks like side loading games is pretty easy as well?

Sideloading is so easy with Hakchi. As for the original games, almost all of them have stood up to the test of time and are as playable today as they have ever been. Ok Starfox is pretty ropey these days, but F-Zero is as fast an unforgiving as ever, Mario World, Mario Kart and Zelda play perfectly and Super Metroid is as atmospheric as ever.
