Some good close racing can be had, I'm not too keen on the Hypercar class, but the Hot Hatch Icons are running again tonight between 7 and 11pm.

The progression system is great, feel like you actually have to work. However, I've only done a few races and am past Tier 2..

Are those custom letters on your number plate or does one of the preset alphabets match?

They are custom, if you search UK font on the vinyl page someone has created every letter pretty accurately.

Anyone bother with the speciality dealer? Like the Aston on there for £1.2 million.

I guess if you really want a particular car and have it a a rarer option in a race it’s worth it, but I don’t get enough playtime to save up for all of them and it’s not like there isn’t an alternative for less in the normal dealer. I bought the Mini Cooper S the week before.

Bought my son a playseat and logitech stuff for the seat plus F7 only two weeks ago for his birthday

The seat has been gathering dust for the last week.


General Question;

Does anyone know if F7 has got the global or overall leader boards back? I think they dropped them on F5 and certainly not there on F6?

If they were backon F7, I might have a go.

Right...... ok... whats your point? Is that really the games fault, or that your son doesn't have a very high attention span? (not being a c**t, just a general question) you can't really judge a game properly in only one week .... plus, it's a semi-sim racer, so having a wheel etc is pretty pointless, project cars 2/assetto corsa would really bring the set up to life.

I like it, my sons also like it and they are quite demanding. Graphics definitely better than 6. The sounds are awesome. Update took an hour or so for 45GB

The AI is aggressive and not very smart. And I'm not into trucks or buggies. Other than that no complaints.

I think it is the game as he has played the various horizons for hours and hours and hours. He will also play those Black Ops zombie games for a straight twelve to fourteen hours if I let him. It is certainly not lack of attention.

Maybe he'll start to use the seat again with Horizon soon. Hope so as the damned thing cost me rather a lot of money.

Do you know if the global / overall leaderboards are back in F7?

Having just bought a 4K HDR tv I downloaded the Forza 7 demo for my One S and was impressed with the initial intro (just showing the cars in situ) but when I started playing in game was quite underwhelmed, does anyone have any first hand experience of how much the step up the graphics are using the One X compared to the normal one?
Played Forza 1 and 2 a lot a decade or so ago but since then have barely played computer games, bought a Logitec G920 in the black Friday sale in a bid to play more but it seems a chore to play due mainly to how hard you have to press the brake pedal!

Wasnt going to buy my Forza 6 garage got wiped out, my 17 year old was a bit upset about this as he had spent ages, buying, tuning and configuring his cars, so as a consolation I bought 7.

If you like these things to pick up and play, just for a little bit, and seldom go on line - is there any point in going from 6 to 7?

Does it have variable light - namely can you do a 24 hour sim (sped up - I haven't the time of patience for 24 hours)?

Yes some of the tracks have full variable weather. You can set up the weather for the start, middle and end and even the percentage chance of each actually happening to add an element of surprise. The rain effects on the track are amazing, even ground fog drifts across only certain parts of the track.

Does anybody know if you need to have a certain level/car collection tier before the 2017 911 RSR is offered to you as a level-up reward? I must have levelled up 40+ times since it was released and still nothing. I've heard people have been getting it within two or three levels. Am I just getting unlucky?

A bit confused about the car tiers. I just spent a small wedge upgrading an RX7 to B category, however when you go to race in open class it drops back down to the basic spec. Whats the point in being able to mod etc if you can't use it?
