Anyone played with the newly released "drift" suspension settings?
Had a quick go last night and it seems to make quite a difference, the new scoring mode is interesting too and definitely makes me want to keep playing!

Strangely online drift lobbies seem a lot cleaner and also seem easier to drift 2/3 up than it was before
I don't have anyone to play Forza 7 with and quite fancy a mess about online if anyone is keen? Especially keen to try some drift cars out too and tunes etc

I only recently found out this game has a very easy mode, where you literally just hold the right trigger and the car drives itself. Might seem a bit pointless, but to my four year old nephew it's the most amazing thing in the world, where he can feel like a real racing driver whilst being oblivious to the fact he isn't actually doing anything besides making the car go faster

That's cool actually. Then you can gradually take away the assists until he's manual with clutch and simulation steering. The_Jackal said:
Just play through career, you will get lots of levelling up cars, even top end cars.
Money and cars are easy to accumulate, it's only if you want specific cars you need to spend money.
Also, strategically use the mod cards to multiply up your winnings. Only buy the veteran mods card crates, the lower ones are a waste of time.
Also don't buy crates for suits etc again a waste of money.
Forzathon is also a good source for free stuff.
And make sure you go to the Forza hub (in game NOT the website) every Friday to claim free money.
Finally, ALL the cars drive better with a downloaded tune. For career you will need Div Spec tunes. Online you can then install class tunes to take them to the top of the class A S R etc
Hope that helps
Honestly I've had Forza 7 since release and I only just realized today that Div Spec stands for Division Spec. I genuinely thought he called them Div spec because it was for idiots who couldn't drive HAHAHAHAHAHAHMoney and cars are easy to accumulate, it's only if you want specific cars you need to spend money.

Wow Kodiak I remember you from FM4.
Yeah no one seems to bother setting up races. I remember when we were given a spec to build to and then race.
I'd be up for that again if someone organised it lol
I skipped from 4 to 7 and quite like 7. Not perfect but nothing ever is.
Anyway caning FH4 at the mo.

Got this (along with an Xbox, FH4 etc) yesterday.
I have a question: in free play why are the hire cars restricted to the same class as the car I’m currently driving? How can I choose from everything so I can try before I buy?
For example, I’m in a Holden Torana so it is only showing US muscle cars in hire cars.

Go to the race options bit on the screenshot where the car looks like it's parked in the pits (RB button and itll tab over) and there's a box you can adjust to change to 'Any Class'and then you can drive anything. It's also where you can change track etc.I have a question: in free play why are the hire cars restricted to the same class as the car I’m currently driving? Enjoy.
I've just started FH4 and found that more enjoyable but obviously no Bathurst...

This has been attempted many times before but if there is enough interest I’d be well up for hosting a new series.
Returned to his after a break, spent pretty much all day Sunday online and can honestly say I'm finding the A class hoppers surprising clean and well behaved.
Everything just feels more race focused and cleaner, the game now has a more serious feel to it than it did the last time I played it, no one playing battering rams with SUVs anymore!
I'm Really enjoying the direction this title is going tbh
good job Turn 10

Its settled down now all the casual players have moved on to Horizon/Black Ops/FIFA.
My fave is Endurance GT. All the cars are fairly well matched.
Yeah that would explain the lack of rammers and dicks then, also the way the cars feel on track seems a lot better than I remember. My fave is Endurance GT. All the cars are fairly well matched.

I bought a Logitech G920 2nd hand a while back and found it was crap with FM6. Project cars 2 I was ok at but I got bored of it rather quickly with the wheel being attached to a bloody ironing board though
After buying a bucket seat and a stand for the steering wheel I stuck FM7 on today and have been smashing in some decent laps. I'd be up for taking part in a league if the numbers were decent.
