Anybody still kick about on this? I’m usually found online in a track day (Nurburg mostly).
My tag is my username if anyone still plays, feel free to add me.

Don't Forget to look for the PISTONHEADS group in community as many members are in the group so can catch / play with others that way also

Played a bit of this recently, it's definitely improved a lot since launch over three years ago but the menus still badly lag, frustratingly. AI is soso, but better than any GT game or Project Cars 2. I've had a couple of decent timed mini endurance races by setting them up in freeplay. It does feel a bit stale though. FM8 won't have an excuse with the power of the Series X.

The only really satisfying AI I've raced against is F1 2020.

Still, it's a great looking game!

There's a distinct lack of info about FM8, and news at all? Let alone a release date?
They have had long enough to work on it.

I sadly got bored of FM7 fairly quickly after release, I've played every single one to death since the first on the original Xbox.

Hopefully 8 will be good. I don't feel the homilogation did much favour for them. In theory it is better but it wasn't overly popular. Along with getting rid of many of the lower class racing. Starting off on FM4 with a Toyota Aygo was always great fun.

Forza 7 is definitely flawed but there's still plenty of leagues racing on it week in, week out.

What I came here to say is, there's now a challenge to lap the ring in a standard (V6) Transit in memory of Sabine.

I'm on there a fair bit since it became available on Game Pass. Usual play Cycled production - using a controller. It is always a quest to get through the 1st corner. Once that is achieved it is fight to get in top 5.

There are a few guys on there who are just phenomenal (and also know where to corner cut). I guess FM8 will address the rammers and corner cutters.

One thing I wish MS and Turn 10 would do is put the old Forza games on Game Pass.

thanks Dave, just had a go on that, it's pretty cool, got just about 10m20s in the transit, no assists and stimulated damage on the controller with auto....i have to get out the wheel and petals for a proper attempt....
does anyone know her time she posted in that van?

She done a 10m 8s, but I'm sure that was a BTG time, and in a diesel van with 136bhp rather than the petrol V6 in the game.

To go faster in the game map the clutch to the A button and you'll shave off seconds per lap on most tracks. I didn't play the game for about a year until recently, and found I was quicker on the controller when I went back to it. The wheel can be marginally faster but it takes time to get back up to speed.
