It was meant to be out dec-2017 but now it's estimated Q2 of 2018. As beautiful as it looks you can still tell it has a long way to go.

i hope they improve a few things though, i remember spending money on those vending machine capusule toys and it taking forever because you have to watch the entire process of him buying/opening etc..

I loved Shenmue 1 and 2.
Probably the best games (certainly 2) at the time.

The wooden plank challenge in Shenmue 2 will forever haunt my dreams
But everything about it was amazing.

Can't wait for 3. So happy they are doing it.

I loved both 1 and 2 and they're some of my favourite gaming moments I've ever had and I loved playing them at the time. I recently finished 1 again and still loved it to bits.

I've started 2 again and can't wait for 3 and I'll grab a PS4 copy of 1 and 2 as well!

I've got it on pre-order and am really looking forward to it. I don't play too many videogames now but I can remember all the hype when this came out for the DC and have so many memories - it's going to be great to play through again and I don't mind if it looks clunky it is part of the charm.

One thing I'm not sure of is the licenses - hope you can still play hang on/outrun etc.

Hope this remaster sells enough to properly boost Shenmue III development because its been so long I won't believe it until I see it.

I was a bit crap at QTEs to start with and now I'm 46 it's going to be painful but worth it. So those library books are going to take a bit of time to air out.

Currently balls deep into the remastered Shenume on Xbox. Love it! Clunky and frustrating, but very endearing and a proper nostalgic treat. Enjoying it more now than I did nearly twenty years ago

Finished the first game. Absolutely fantastic. So happy that these were rereleased, and this time I have the sequel to get stuck into.

A certain tomb raiding adventurer might take priority though before I continue Ryo’s story in Hong Kong

I'm a few hours into this now and thoroughly enjoying it. It is just like old times and if you experienced the first two you will love this. It is a bit sluggish to start with but it ramps up the further you get into it. It has been worth the wait for me.

This game does make me feel old though...when I think that I was playing the first one on the Dreamcast back in 2000/2001.
