I get a weird situation where I land at the start of the game and for about 30 seconds, the buildings are not rendered in properly and I can not do anything. I have to stand around and wait for the buildings to properly appear.
In some instances, someone will land close to me and shoot me before I have had chance to enter a building.

By the way, I resolved this issue by changing the max frame rate from unlimited to 30 fps. Useful tip if anyone else if having the same rendering issue on PC.In some instances, someone will land close to me and shoot me before I have had chance to enter a building.
I've been waiting for the PvE to be released for nearly a year.
I kept contemplating purchasing for early access, but the combination of being a tight fisted Yorkshireman and reviews saying it's lacking in most areas, I never bothered.
It's supposedly sometime in 2018, they're cutting it fine...

Played for the first time in a while yesterday and managed 2 games before getting pissed off with it. The zombies are st and they've got rid of 50v50 which was pretty much all i played. What the hell is this disco domination all about too? Didnt have a clue what the hell was going on!
Does anyone still play?
I just got back into the game after having not played it since around august. lots more weapons and other items now, in addition to planes, ziplines and portals under some buildings that all aid in getting around quicker.
lots more new modes that are less focused on killing/battle royale and have infinate respawns. no doubt better for kids (who have played for several months and never even come close to a win)., also useful for people trying to get back into the game (like me) who suck at combat due to being off it for so long.

Had a quick game yesterday having not played in a fair while and I quite like the new mode that massively restricts how much building material you can carry which almost takes building out of the equation. It's something I always thought would make a good game mode for people like me who are crap at building. I played a lot last season and completed most of the challenges in the battle pass. I'm still suffering with this slow laptop so the challenges keep me going rather than aiming for wins.
The skill level of the average player is increasing all the time. It seems like 99% of payers can build pretty quickly and have good accuracy. I find I get most of my kills if I pile into someone elses gun fight where my opponent is distracted and low on health and shield.
I don't think I will play much of this season as I noticed many of the challenges are repeats.

I still play but the skill level is a lot higher these days. This season’s map is very good with the snow and stuff.
I was initially very negative about the introduction of planes with guns, but actually really enjoy flying them.I suspect that is because the player base has not really woken up to their power yet though and once they do, they will be a nightmare.
Seems that a decent pilot in the plane would be almost impossible to stop from winning, especially in Solo/Duo.

They’re most OP if you third party an ongoing fight. Especially in squads if you have a couple of planes between you.

Not forgetting, in this season more than ever, you don't even need to get kills to win. The final storm damage is so strong and the circle so mobile that it's quite often the person who dodges the storm the best who wins.

One thing I hate is the balloons, always get caught by someone ghosting in!

A skilled pilot will use the plane's huge mobility to ensure you don't get a full magazine into him before he takes you out though.

I have won twice recently using the plane until the very end. Not forgetting, in this season more than ever, you don't even need to get kills to win. The final storm damage is so strong and the circle so mobile that it's quite often the person who dodges the storm the best who wins.
The first time I keep circling at max height, waiting until it was 1 v 1. swooped down, strafed the last player and then jumped out when very close to the ground. This meant the last player didn't see the jump and continued to focus on the now empty plane, giving me enough time to hit shotgun.
The second time was on the steady storm game mode. Kept circling, jumped out at max height and drifted down, staying in the circle as long a possible before it closed completely. Once it closed completely I drifted away to avoid gunfire, fortunately my HP must have been higher.
