Im put off teh latest one due to all the busy work in the New Order-spend ages wandering around the base speaking to people and collecting stuff, very dull
Will most liekley get it in a sale though
It did feel a bit claustrophobic on the sub, but once you get out into the real world the game opens up considerably. Will most liekley get it in a sale though

Why's that then?
Not a clue. Maybe it's just the amount of hours I've put into BF over the years. Dynamics of games like CSGO, Arma etc are different a d takes a little time for me to adapt to.I think this is why I don't connect with BF1 so much, it doesn't 'feel' like a normal BF game
New one for the list ..
Mass Effect Andromeda! Picked it up in a sale so it only cost £6, I wanted to see if it was as bad as people said when it was released. Got to the point where I have turned on some big alien thing on a planet ... pretty dull so far. Also has lots of busy work that seems to infest open world games these days. Glacial story, lack of drama and even the gun play (despite having verticality now) seems pretty tedious.
I wondered if I had rose tinted goggles, so loaded ME1 up and did a new start. 1 hour later I was still playing it. It has good pacing, even in the early stages the story starts to pull you in. The gunplay is straightforward and it benefits from not being open world as its pretty clear where you need to go and what you need to do.
Whilst I will probably push on with MEA it certainly isn't a game that I will struggle to put down like the original ME trilogy.

I couldnt stick ME Andromeda. Paid full price as well. Just painfully slow busy work. Didn't suck me in at all. Mass Effect Andromeda! Last of us or whatever it was called. Most overhyped piece of rot I have ever played.
Glad I'm not the only one! I just couldn't get into it.As for Mass Effect Andromeda, I was a little disappointed too. The original ME trilogy was an incrdible journey, but Andromeda just fell flat. However I still find myself returning to it, and every time I do I find myself enjoying it. Strange one.

GTA5 Online - Bought this on PS4 having not played it in ages after my 360 broke thinking online would be awesome. Made a character and then spent about an hour messing about before I got bored. Played through the story again instead and really enjoyed it!
Completely agree, I’m a huge GTA fan of old, from the first top down game to 5.From the first trailer I had a chubby on for it - It was a bit like San Andreas but for (at the time) current gen and despite those expectations it was amazing, lavish, huge, great story and like the best GTA games you didn’t have to nail mission after mission you could go for a drive, explore, mini games, everything was interactive and the NPCs were reactive.
Couldn’t get on with online though, the missions were repetitive and other players demanded you completed them in the quickest, most efficient way possible so they could grind out 10 rooftop rumbles an hour to buy the latest reskinned car or weapon and start the whole cycle again. The open world was a total headfk of the worst kind of online gaming aholes just being dicks for the sake of being dicks, the graphics were toned down and the details taken out.
I probably spin through the story mode on it every couple of months and occasionally check the web to see if the ‘promised but never, ever going to happen’ Story DLC was perhaps going to happen after all.
RE: RDR
I didn’t like it at first, took too long to get about and my word it’s full of glitches and problems like Instakill water, but a week stuck on the sofa with flu and it got my claws into it - it’s a great game despite its faults.
I bought it again recently to play on the XBox One, I sort of assumed they might have patched the glitches by now, nope it’s still a mess, but it’s still good.

The big problem with GTA5 is that it's now a *really* old game. It was launched on the previous generation consoles and saw a good two or three years before the 'next gen' versions dropped. As a result it's pushing six years old now, but R$ treat it like a three year old game. This is a really long time to go with no DLC to push the story on or bring some new value to the same locations. GTA5 is DESPERATE for a Gay Tony type story DLC but R$ flatly refuse to do it which is really upsetting their core fans. I totally agree with you about online. It has the potential to be great and it is fun if you're playing new content with actual friends rather than random internet 'squeakers' but the gimped online economy means everyone's either a grinder or a griefer. What really blows my mind is that GTA5 has been in the top 10 selling chart since the day it was released. Even now, 5 years later (or whatever) it still shifts hundreds of brand new copies every week! I mean good for them, it just blows my mind a little.
Totally! Every time a new game comes out, publishers crow about how many units they sold. They show the sales charts and GTA5 is always at number 2 or 3. Who cares how many week 1 copies the new COD has sold when GTA has been consistently been in the top 3 of game sales, month on month, year on year since its release.
Utterly mindblowing. I cant think of a single game that has achieved the same level of sales.
I also read that GTA had made over 500 million from shark card sales alone .... half a billion from people exchanging real money for virtual currency that can be used to buy things in game. Literally staggering.

Tried a few times with Resident Evil 7 but it hasn't clicked for me yet. I'm a big fan of the series (expect 6, that was ste) but I think it might be the completely different playstyle and characters that are stopping me enjoying it.
