I think for Rocket League it's the immensely high skill ceiling. You can always improve, and I enjoy that. I like getting better and learning new mechanics. The pro players are on another planet, fun to watch. I don't have the time to play very much, but most of my gaming has been Rocket League the past year or so.

Gonna add Fortnite to this list.

My son loves it, on the rare occasions that he hands me the controller it just seems like a mess to me.
