RE: Spintires: MudRunner - Review

It's really one of those games that writes its own unexpected stories. I've only just finished the first level (Bog) on hardcore mode – it took me 7 hours!
My first load was pretty simple despite not realising you can pack the logs. The second load ended up with a truck running out of fuel, a hastily constructed fuel bowser ending up on its side off a wooden bridge, and another truck having to go and recover it. Then my scouting 4x4 jeep thing was on its side in the way of the log truck. Eventually got it there – it's amazing how little the B131 with medium logs moves even on fairly solid ground. I think I nearly wore out the winch button!

Finally got time to have a real crack at this last night. It's brilliant fun. Got through a bunch of challenges and then proceeded to drive a truck straight off the island into the deep water where it completely sunk.
Handed the controller to my mate who took a good half hour to winch it out with another truck. Then realised he needed something else to go and repair it.
Endless fun. Trying to persuade him to download it now so we can multiplayer it.

Currently fuming with this. Put about 3 hours into it on Saturday and I'm no better off. Took a wrong turn up a hill, got stuck. Tried to rescue it with Thunderbird 3 and got that stuck too. My other 2 trucks are sat at the lumber yard on fumes so can't get either to the fuel station or garage, leaving my little jeep to save the day. Trouble is the jeep is damaged from ambitious water wading. Incredibly frustrating game but still looking forward to get back on it when I can.
Just seen that an update is coming very soon with wheel support and other stuff

Sounds like the changes are all just to make the game easier, which isn't on! More content is what's needed on consoles.
I didn't get that feeling at all?Just mentioned that when loading logs it would be easier. It is a pain as it has to be perfectly straight and also when you are using a crane the logs are a pain to group.
