I got a second last night but the chicken dinner still eludes me.
My main aim at the minute is to get more than three kills in a round,unfortunately my spray and pray at close range is more panic than precision and i can't hit a barn door at range.
I need to slow myself down in firefights and breathe,I get to excited(Oo'er matron) even when i've got them bang to rights and it should be an easy kill.
Turned most of my setting's right down to 2,3 and fours in the hope of smoothing out gunplay.

Strange thing happened to me last night when I got stuck in FPV.
Didn't matter what buttons i pressed in wouldn't go back into TPV and it's the second time it's happened to me so not a one off freak occurrence.
Bloody annoying when you're in the last ten and need to be checking all around you quickly.

Biggest tip I have for newbs is do not avoid conflict. The only way to get better is to engage. You won't get better running away/hiding all the time. Also, maybe try the B controller preset as its more in line with other FPS games. I changed to this recently and its made such a difference.Really enjoying it despite being awful at it. Managed 4 dinners at the weekend.
Started playing squads solo just to see what it's like after a few people mentioned it, it's pretty fun.
I got to 5th on one game having picked off a few people with the AKM and an 8x scope. End game was centred around the four houses next to the prison, one squad was in a house and had pretty much taken out another squad (with some secret help from me) who had tried the full frontal assault tactic. i came in from the side having come down past the prison and got myself into the house next door but lost a window to window firefight after thinking i was in cover while throwing a grenade (which would have killed me anyway).
Got free reign of the school and apartment buildings in another, sat in the top of one of the apartment buildings and knocked down a guy with a Kar98.Despite knocking him down into cover, his mate just left him and then he proceeded to crawl out of cover so i got him. Snuck up behind a squad in the middle of a firefight, killed 2 and knocked down a 3rd before they realised i was behind them. Unfortunately i got taken out by the 4th guy.
Obvious thing against you is that everyone else can get knocked down but you die, surprising amount of people i found on their own though.

^ I tried solo squads the other day but found it all a sit sporadic as you either ran into groups of people and had some action or didn't see or bump into anyone for ages in which case it became a bit lonely boring as everyone is spread out less.
I'm in a shocking run of form at the moment - only managed a handful of kills and a solitary top 10 finish on the weekend.

Not sure how i managed it as my headphones ran out of charge as the match started so dropped them on the charger and thought i'd just have a prat about as i stood no chance.Managed to jump a motorbike off a cliff whilst being shot at and survive,God knows how and then proceed to nail the bloke who was shooting at me.
Anyway got to the last fifteen or so and the circles dropped just right for me,headphones back on heart rate up.
I have to say that i now took the cowardly route and just hid and watched.Got down to the last three and i knew there was one close to my right but i couldn't see the other guy.Bloke on my right takes out the other one so i start creeping towards him,i've never been in such a small circle before but still could't see him,Anyway i have a quick look down to scan the floor and i'm literally standing on top of him,M16 to the back of the head and job's a good un.
Cue a celebration jig around the kitchen yelling winner,winner chicken dinner.

Yes i have to admit on both occasions i mentioned all of the action was right at the end and proceeded by a long period of nothingness. I'm in a shocking run of form at the moment - only managed a handful of kills and a solitary top 10 finish on the weekend.

I tend to pass the time by going for a run,normally a long one. 
Best result so far last night, 2nd place.

Been playing a lot of 1 vs Squad which is quite good, as a lone gunman it's easier to hide and more targets to shoot at. I find I come top 10 or even top 5 quite a lot in solo compared to a squad.
Saying that, I had a great chicken dinner last night in a squad last night.
Also got a kill with a pan!
Does anyone know when the new map will come to Xbox?
