How you get to that point is up to you but I'm not critical of playstyles. Winning is winning and as long as you're not cheating and enjoying yourself then who cares?
I have to say that at the moment i'm playing for kills rather than the win as i cannot get past three kills in a round.
I find getting into the top ten pretty easy as i tend to stay well out of the way till the last few circles but I still lose more one on ones then I win.
I have to literally sit there telling myself to be calm and be smooth on the sticks but it still goes out of the window as soon as someone surprises me. frown

There is every point playing like that, no point being a dead hero.
No point in playing if you ain't gonna kill folk.
It’s a survival game though, you only have to kill 1 person.

There is nothing less satisfying than winning the game with 0 kills. Absolutely zero satisfaction.

I've only done it once (and by accident) but winning a solo game with zero kills was tense, hilarious and baffling.

Roadmap has been released. Miramar is coming to xbox in 'early spring' as well as some other interesting stuff.....

Never had a zero kill chicken dinner but I’ve had a zero kill victory royale.

To be fair I tend to be aggressive in the last 2 circles, most so kills for a dinner is 6.

Had my controller batteries go flat with 8 remaining last night. Gutted.

Also had a crash that took 11 attempts to get back into the game. This isnt the first time since the last patch this has happened either. Had a few now that took between 5-9 attempts. Being centre circle and in a full squad tends to get you back in alive but been killed to the blue a few times because of it now.

Well finally a solo chicken dinner.

Moderately hungover Saturday, I decided to have a few games. First two or three I died in the first circle, with no loot I became a sitting duck.

Then, on my fourth game I found a DP and a Mini 14. Got to work with the tools you have I suppose.

Final circle three of us left, look to my right guy in the bush. Bang, dead. Ok, me and one other guy where is he?!

Oh right in front of me. Few rounds in to him dead. Chicken frick'n dinner!

well done, there always has to be a bit of luck involved in getting that dinner.

Managed to get some games over the weekend, after a bit of a hiatus. Nothing special in all honesty, had a good start and a couple of top 10s. Then just for some reason the next 3 games I died right at the beginning, the lowlight is being punched to death.

The last game, I was playing well up to 6 kills, great load out, 30 or so left. I completely forgot one of the basics, watch the blue circle...While looting, the thing overtakes me. No vehicles around, fk fk fk. I'm sprinting, the circle eventually stops, I can see it, I am going to make it! 1/4 health left and someone opens fire and guns me down from behind rolleyes

So a new hot fix patch is out today. Lets hope the crashing is less frequent on this version.

Downloaded this onto my son's Xbox One S (I run it on an X with external SSD) at the weekend. It runs absolutely shockingly. I could not play it tbh. Landed at Mil. Base accommodation blocks and the buildings hadn't loaded in! Ridiculous! managed a handful of kills (God knows how) before I gave up. Its dreadful lol.

Also. Noticed last night that the "number remaining" at the end of each game is rarely 100% accurate. I know in squads and Duos people can be DBNO therefore still count as alive but our 1st dinner last night I was only squad member remaining along with 3 others (apparently). I kill 1 guy and get the dinner.

When looting I always keep an eye on the blue and remind the team of its proximity. However, had it numerous times when you engage in a gunfight with another group(s) that it catches you out.

Also, I've noticed a lot recently that some people are happy to die to the blue and will quite happily take you with them.

I think that is exactly what happened, I am usually pretty good at monitoring it. I won't usually take too many risks with the blue until the final stages. I just got caught up with several firefights/kills/looting banghead

I like the recent update. Hadn't really played much in the past couple of weeks and have managed 10 kills and two 2nd places in my first 3 games. Had to walk away for a couple of minutes after the last one because I'm shaking too much hehe

Just started playing this, fun game. I either die quickly or end up in the top 10. Best is 5th so far.

In first person mode, am I right in saying you can’t look down the sights fully, like with the holographic? I attach the sights but doesn’t seem to do anything
