Kingdom Come Deliverance (just the main game no DLC I am assuming as per their normal policy) will be free to own from the Epic Game store, available Feb 13th-20th.
Available now. Don't forget to scroll down and get the other free items, HD texture pack, HD sound, HD voice pack.

This is now £8 on Steam, anyone still playing?

I'd imagine the game breaking bugs have been ironed out by now, worth a punt?

Picked this up when it was new then abandoned it. Just gave it another go before Xmas and finished it in about a month of playing... turns out it’s probably my favorite game (single player) ever.

I’m a bit po’d that it’s finished.

I don't suppose I can go far wrong for £8, looks like there is a stack of DLC out there as well now.

Been burnt recently making impulse game purchases so trying to exercise a little more caution. (I'm looking at you Cyberpunk and Desperados 3)

This game is like the polar opposite of 2077. Things you do actually have a consequence, the population is actually alive feeling and skills actually have to be developed.

The enjoyment isn’t easily accessible, but it’s depth is so satisfying.

I did play this on Xbox (in fact, replied to this thread a while back) and enjoyed it immensely. Unfortunately game breaking bugs stopped me from getting anywhere near the end of the story, twice.

I’ve given it another go but on PC this time. The small bugs I noticed seem to have been fixed since I last played it, a year and a half ago. Hopefully the ones that stopped the story progressing have also been resolved!

That's what's rumoured. I'd love a sequel, especially if they can put a better combat system in this time.

This is excellent news. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is up there as possibly one of the best games I've ever played.

Hopefully the sequel comes out in a better state than the first though, I remember the game having numerous game breaking bugs for the first year or so!

Was excited for the first one but after a few attempts I put it down and forgot about it.

Once I’ve finished my current Skyrim Nolvus Ascension run I think it’s only fair that I give it yet another go, especially now the sequel is on the horizon.

Not sure what put me off, maybe it’s just a slow burner to begin with.

This. Every time I have come back to it after playing any other game I am completely lost with the control system for combat.

It’s a slow burn and some of the in-combat controls are non-intuitive but it is well worth the effort and has a lot of replayability. I find Hardcore mode to be far more rewarding as it forces you to travel the map and you discover the real depth of it.

Excited for a sequel, KCD was one of the most engaging games I've played in a long time, was sad to end it.
