I watched the live reveal on youtube, though sadly when it came to the trailer it started buffering and got jerky, dunno if that was on my end or theirs. Looked predictably lush, but then BF1 is one of the most graphically stunning games ive played so i'd expect nothing less. Rather worried about the customisation options of the clothing and bright blue facepaint etc (WTF?!) as I think that could detract from the realism of WW2 (unless your regular soldier was allowed to modify his uniform?)
No premium pass or extra paid-for expansion packs... I wonder if the main game will be £100 instead? Not that I mind that much either way - the BF series are the only games I actually buy because they are the only ones I play online, so £-per-hour I definitely get good value.
Overall though, looking forward to it. Wonder if the (PC) hardware requirements will be significantly more than BF1?

BF1 has been updated with some "Road to Battlefield V" unlocks, matchmaking is broken though
You can already pre-order V on PC and XBox, no PS4 option currently.

There seems to be two versions, standard & deluxe, xbox deluxe is £79.99.

I was hoping for a more skill focused battlefield, like 2/3/4 but not made more casual like 1.
I guess I'm going to have to wait for the beta to make my mind up and watch a lot of videos.
I can pick out some things I like from the trailer but also things I don't. Removing premium is a bonus but eventually, I think the cosmetic changes will have a purchase option (well it is EA). And I have to agree I thought it was a bit fortnite-ish with the character changes.
EA play is in June, we'll see more then.

I’m in.
I think the woman’s metal arm gave it an odd steampunk feel but the arm was the only odd thing in the clip as far as I can see.
Looking forwards to some more in game action. Looks more battlefield 1 than 4 though at the moment.
I think the reaction to the arm is completely over the top. Look closely and it's not a modern prosthetic, it's a bit of plastic strapped to her shoulder with 3 fixed spikes on it. It's 100% feasible for time period.I think the woman’s metal arm gave it an odd steampunk feel but the arm was the only odd thing in the clip as far as I can see.

Unfortunately, it's fashionable to beat down and mock games these days so the Internet kiddies have gone crazy with the steampunk and Fortnite memes.
Having said that, it seems very unrealistic :*(
A female on the front lines with long flowing ginger hair? Braveheart war paint? Firing a bloody MG42 with 1 hand?!?!?
Pffffff
