I think I'll leave it for a few months and pop back.
At E3 they just announced the next expansion - Lego.
I am not impressed.
I am already at that stage, I was hoping the second expansion would drag me back into the game. At E3 they just announced the next expansion - Lego.

Nope, I am out completely now. Bit miffed as I bought the Ultimate Edition too, I only have myself to blame for that.

So you're not even going to play it to see if you enjoy it or not? Nope, I am out completely now. Bit miffed as I bought the Ultimate Edition too, I only have myself to blame for that.
I've only got a few more solo achievements to get (unfortunately the last one will be completing skill streak which I really haven't enjoyed) and then I'm not sure how much I'll play but I'll definitely be completing the lego stuff
There's an E3 livestream going on that's just had some interviews with the developers. Going by the models on their desks there, Lego cars could be a classic Ferrari (maybe a 250 GTO), a modern Camaro (maybe a NASCAR), and a classic Mustang. Instead of the cars getting dented and bent when they get damage, Lego cars have some of the bricks falling off .

Well I've just had a fiddle with the Lego thing.
It's definitely a work of art and has some imaginative road design. You can drive conventional cars in it.
So far I would've preferred something real world ish but I haven't started crying yet.
Do you get Lego cars showing up on the regular map? It's definitely a work of art and has some imaginative road design. You can drive conventional cars in it.

Played for 3 hours last night in the new Lego world, lots of content, amazing work by the design team, great little Lego easter eggs from past games and awesome attention to detail
If you have enjoyed the rest of the game, especially fortune island then I can't see how you wouldn't enjoy it
Lots of the challenges are things like 'get 20 trading paint skills in 2 minutes' or 'get a hypercar over 210mph' (not actually that easy with the size of the roads) as well as the normal speed zones, races, bonus boards etc
Will see if there's enough content to keep me busy after a weekend of playing it but I can see there being 25 hours to complete absolutely everything and that's if you've already got all the cars you need to complete the challenges.

I've not seen my kids this excited about a game in ages, they love the Lego expansion.
For me, it's just good fun, something different, but it's the attention to detail that makes it brilliant. It's not a quick rehash, and the cars they've chosen are great. It has a sense of humour, some will argue that it should be in it's own game (and possibly, yes as the scope of that would be immense) but I like it. It has me playing FH4 again which is no bad thing.

I'll stick this on tonight and see what it's like.
Can't say I'm overly excited, but bought the Ultimate edition, so may as well get my monies!
I think I've only another 500k to get Edinburgh Castle too. Easily make that in Wheelspins having not played in a month or so. Every time I log in now I get around 3mil

Unless you have credits pouring out of your botty the castle is a complete and utter waste. There'll be tons of Alfas in the auction house for less money and wheelspins are everywhere these days. Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
