I think I've only another 500k to get Edinburgh Castle too. Easily make that in Wheelspins having not played in a month or so. Every time I log in now I get around 3mil hehe
Unless you have credits pouring out of your botty the castle is a complete and utter waste. There'll be tons of Alfas in the auction house for less money and wheelspins are everywhere these days.
Y'know you're completely right there, total waste of money. I guess it's the old gamer in me wanting to have all the houses/properties! That's the only one left.

Downloading the demo of this now. I'm kind of bored with driving games that I have now. This is something different. I'm getting the demo first to ensure it plays nicely with my steering wheel (G27) as I've read many negative things about this game and steering wheels.

I also have the UE and tried the Lego DLC. Not for me if afraid.
I have never been bothered with Lego based game spin offs and this is no exception.
Bye bye FH4, I think i got my monies worth up to this shambles.

I've just checked the windows store and the standard edition has dropped to £24.99. Looks like it's on offer for a few days.

The problem for me is that the two different styles just don't mesh together. At least with Hot Wheels it was all about cars, and the ones you get in game aren't that different from some of the crazy rods or customs you see in real life. But in this DLC you get realistic and Lego assets thrown together. Horizon has never been about realism, but immersion, and having cars made of Lego driving around with you just ruins that. The speedway is a nice addition and there are some good driving roads, but when you think what they could have done it's massively disappointing they just made something for children.

Makes me laugh when people talk "immersion" in a Horizon game. You are playing the wrong game, Gran Turismo and FM7 are for that.

If you want to drive around circuits. That doesn’t hold much interest to me personally.

Immersion and realism are two different things. God of War is an immersive game, but if they released a DLC where he could use a machine gun it would ruin it, because it doesn't sit with the tone and artistic style.

Either way you all seem to buy a game just to sit on here moaning about it. There are plenty of games to choose from.

Both my boys loving the Lego expansion, spent an evening doing a few challenges and stuff to get the Ferrari for them, but both happy with the mini!

Love the detail in it, project cars for proper racing but this is just fun!

I kind of agree. The lego update caught me by surprise but I was thrilled when I seen it.

The disappointment was when the Lego cars appeared in the Horizon "Real World" frown

Finally upgraded to a One X and 4K TV, the results are very impressive. Perhaps not the type of thing that would come across in static screen shots, but it feels clearer, runs a lot smoother and load times for the menus are almost instantaneous, instead of having to wait about a minute for the correct thumbnails to load. Shame I haven't got much left to do in the game.

Not directly. The easiest way that I've seen, is for someone to list one of their worthless cars for 1 million, then you find their auction via their gamertag and Buy It Now.

As for actually giving away cars there's not really a reliable method, I've heard of people listing their rare cars for friends to quickly buy but they get spotted and snapped up so quickly, that can often lead to disappointment..

Apparently people run bots to buy the rare stuff the moment it appears.

The thing is, you can't list a crap car for 1 million. They decide what range you can put a car up for based on its cost and rarity.

With the update this week, the Mini has a wide arch option

Apparently they aren't paintable, so you can't go full Project Binky with yellow arches hehe

A few new aero options with bumpers and lights too.
