Have I missed something? How do I join the PH club?
Go to the club's tab, search clubs PSTN and voila.Anyone fancy a FH4 online meet? Any idea how to coordinate it so were all in the same session?

what's everyone's favourite sections of road on the game? Can be main map or Fortune Island
I'm trying to find the absolute best stretch on there, probably somewhere I've overlooked
I absolutely love the long stretch on the far left of the map, to the left of Derwent Water.I'm trying to find the absolute best stretch on there, probably somewhere I've overlooked
Running north to south, starting at the pub all the way down to the village, it's just a great run. It's also a great test to see which cars are best for brakes and understeer as well as suspension settings. If its fast there its usually fast everywhere.

I’d agree with that as well. I also like to run a small test route near Banburgh Castle, south towards a small road On the right, next to a cottage which then dips under the railway. Along some fast but narrow country roads which loops onto the drift zone which takes you back onto the main road towards the castle. Then turning right at the triangular village green at the second junction, follow the road to a speed zone and then back to the castle again. I should turn it into a proper p2p.Running north to south, starting at the pub all the way down to the village, it's just a great run. Every new car, I take a right straight out of the workshop and head towards the bendy drift section followed by the speed zone - the result of both of those tells me whether I've got my tune right or notRunning north to south, starting at the pub all the way down to the village, it's just a great run. Favourite road on fortune island is the mega drift zone up/down the mountain, the first time I nailed it with a good amount of flow was a very good feeling

I particularly like the top of Glenn Rannoch > to the main road in Lakehurst Forest > to the east side of Moorhead Wind Farm.... set your satnav to those and it takes you on some great varied roads down through the centre of the map and across
Did the Pirate Games in this classy '95 RS 2:
And the Trial in this top quality Lancia:
I try and turn every car into a classy weeb special. I have no idea why.
Just look at the complete travesty that is this Lambo:
Entertains me no end, lining up with a car like that when everyone takes it so seriously..

I’ve posted up three different circuits over some favourite bits of road. Two near Banburgh Castle and one which takes the highland road from Ambleside towards Edinburgh and then over the mountain and back to Ambleside.
I’m not sure how you’d find them? Maybe from searching my gamertag!?
Also...I’ve had some real bargains on the auction house the last couple of weeks. Stuff I’d expect to sell high has been relatively easy to snap up and for much less than the cost from the Autoshow. It seems that all people want is RS6 and R8 Audi’s and all the latest, fastest hypercars.

I decided to hoon this stretch last night after reading this thread, got joined by another player! Was really good fun, did a pass in both directions then both changed cars. Must have done about 10 runs Running north to south, starting at the pub all the way down to the village, it's just a great run. Joined the PistonHeads club last night as well, tag is EVO4blade.

That happened to me last night. Must've timed it just right. Got a heap of cars I was wanting for cheap as well as some others like the KTM GT4 and Peugeot 205 FE that are current and future seasonal reward cars. Missed out on a 100k BMW M3 GTS which considering what they normally go for would've been a bargain.I’m not sure how you’d find them? Maybe from searching my gamertag!?

I've only been playing this for a few weeks but this FH4 is fantastic. I'm loving the map, even as an Aussie its so much more fun then FH3 with plenty of elevation changes and interesting scenery. My only gripe with the map is that there isn't enough highways like there were on FH2. I've found the best fun is to go for a drive with a lower class car like a hot hatch (Mini GP is good fun).
Being stuck at home I've been doing a couple of Forzathons everyday which are a nice challenge and enjoyable too.
As a long time Forza Motorsport fan I've played a heap of Forza 7 but its lain dormant since i picked up FH4. The two games couldn't be more different. Horizon is full of life and plenty of fun things to do even when you're not racing whereas FM7 seems a bit left behind and a bit dull. So much so that I've started getting into Project Cars 2 which is a good challenge but not as fun if you dont have a wheel and pedals.
It’s not very clear or straight forward is it!?
I created routes, tested them and assumed that was it. Apparently I also had to create and test a blueprint for it to appear.
None of this is explained anywhere. The GUI on this game is absolutely awful. Loading times are so slow and so plentiful. The music is awful and can’t be turned permanently off. The NPC’s and ‘storylines’ are cringeworthy and let’s not forget how utterly pointless the clothing and emotes are.
The other annoying thing is that if you’re new to the game or if a friend is new to the game and you want to have some races together, you can’t access online until level 20. Which is around 6-8hrs of game time. What a totally misguided decision that was!
Is it just me finding these things frustrating?

You can turn it off on xBox too. Right D-pad button (changes station, but one of the stations is 'off')
You don't get the benefit of the skill songs though, and they make quite a difference for racking up the points.
You still hear it playing near festival sites and end of races though. Wouldn't be so bad if they didn't use the same few songs every time. You don't get the benefit of the skill songs though, and they make quite a difference for racking up the points.
