I think our plan is to just convoy in sessions and race between marker points.

I’ve been playing since launch but never played with other players laugh

Well I ended up buying it to try.

What a ball ache buying via Windows Store (created new account just for it), then you need another account for xbox live (another new account), and running it on my Win10 laptop for now (1060 GPU so nice speeds through to my PC screen @ 2560x1140)

Still just getting it all set up and going, and using my G25 Logitech wheel.

Feels very nice to drive generally, but not had much chance to do much more than drive around with the Audi TT trying to understand what you have to do.

I appreciate that you have to 'follow the game' a bit to unlock stuff.

It feels quite a lot like TDU2, and has gone a bit cheese fest with TDU2 style 'storylines' like being a stunt driver all of a sudden, and all the 'dudes' walking around and talking to each other like it's F&F. It makes it a bit embarrassing to play this.

TDU1 had a much better feel to it for people who don't think F&F is 'cool'

So yeah, it's going to be a cringe fest to grind through to get enough money/wheelspins or whatever else this game uses to buy cars to enjoy in a way that doesn't require looking like a penis if I'm playing it with my wife in the room hehe

Looking for a little help.

A couple of mates and I tried to meet up in Forza last night but we couldn’t get it working.

They’ve done the tutorial year that opens the map up but not much else. Is there something else they need to do before multiplayer opens up properly?
Due to Playground Games being a bunch of useless wkstains, your mates will have to get to level 20 to be able to play online with you. They’re looking at 6-8 ish hours of gameplay to get to 20.

You’ll then discover that when you race online with randoms, you will be ruthlessly punted off the track or pushed wide of checkpoints should you have the audacity to attempt an overtake.

If you get knocked into a wall, you’ll get a penalty which effectively causes your car to have massively reduced performance for a short time. Those who ram into you get no such penalty.

st game - still play it though, what a mug I am!
You do realise it's not a real racing sim?

Any tips for the princess street speed trap super gt? Tried in a few different cars with trending tunes but not got any better than 219mph......
I used a Ferrari F12 with a 2 or 3 star S2 class tune from the storefront. Tried 599 GTO and Portifino with no success. Got it fifth try with 231mph after coming close with 22x several times. Run from the roundabout from the left side of the map and start from the wrong side of the road there so when you take the left hand turn you have more room to corner and then just keep it pinned through the next right hand bend.

A good tip I saw online was hit rewind if you hit something (pole, car etc) because after you rewind the obstacle has been moved out of the way leaving you a clearer run.

Spring and festival 80% done, don't need to do the Lotus event, I might still give it a go. Princes Street speed run was in a 812 Superfast with a tune download called Princes Street, an S2 990 tune by jiggaross.

What did you use for the Northbound danger sign jump?

X999 Hoonigan RS200 for the jump and the dirt speed zone.

Same. Pretty much any dirt speed zone and jump is best with the Hoonigan RS200.

New stuff for the next 4 weeks of updates:

Ford Racing Puma
Nissan Pulsar GTI-R
Peugeot 205 Rallye
Toyota Celica 185
Toyota Celica ST205
Mitsubishi Starion

Quick photo mode: a quicker photo taking without the processing and menu stuff.

I'd just be happy if they fixed to allow me to do drift and speed zones.

I was in the same boat but was lucky to pick up a Bentley for 1.9m in the Auction House. It’s a barn find car so theoretically there should be more of them around and command less money then the others.

Spring speed trap is the hardest thing I’ve done on FH4. Tried a few cars with downloaded tunes but couldn’t get over 226 from any direction, so started with the F12, AWD and twin turbo conversion, auto upgrade to S1 (changed tyres from race to Forza race, not sure if it makes a difference). After a few runs from both directions I started adjusting the final drive, and managed 231 from the drift zone to the west. That makes the approach to Princes Street a lot easier.
The Lotus thing was easy with an 800 tuned XI, a bit understeery but good fun when I got used to it. The Goliath was good, came second in a 1-2-3-5-6 for our team.
Looking forward to the Racing Puma...

according to the game i've earned around 3.5m total credits since starting playing [admittedly i've only done the starter year and winter just gone]. how do you make big money?

smashed the jump in my rally speed 12, did the ferrari rocher thing. tried the lotus but twice all my team members dropped out first race. anything where i have to interact with other online users seems to be a disaster.

Get the Forza Hub app on your Xbox and get the gift money each week. How much you get depends on how far you've played through Forza games, I get 350,000 each week when I remember. You can get 6 figure and million credit prizes in the wheelspins and super wheelspins too. Most of the time you'll get a dance, a hat and 5k, but the big money ones are there hehe
