how come spring ends today? winter seemed to go on for a week? winter was my first season outside the training year, are they not always fixed length?
goliath was fun but i also had the issue with speed, using an elan that topped out around 140. the prize was also fairly useless as i have an A tuned XI i use a lot. so i turned the free one into a maxed out S2 tune, which doesn't handle so well but can hit about 230mph so i'm keeping it

i only wish there was a way to opt out of the aspects aimed at kids [clothing, victory dances] and the online bits which can be very hit and miss.

My guy wears a crash test dummy all in one with frog wellies, driving gloves and a viking helmet. Anyone else got a sillier outfit?Literally do not care about making it all come together in some sort of stylish way. Some people take that st way too seriously.
Anyone worked out how you actually win/buy the Puma? I've completed the timed lap with it, managed a 58.8s lap but do not have the car. I've checked at the festival site to see if it's available from the Autoshow and it's not there (I thought I might have been available as an individual car for £2.50). Finally I checked the Forzathon shop to see if it could be on of this season's prizes, still no luck.
Got the ST205 Celica GT4, first thing I did was spray it silver, like the one I owned.

Another tip many are probably aware of, but some new players may not be...
When you have challenges like 'complete 3 Dirt Racing events', go to one of the races on the map, and instead of doing the default Forza races, check the user-created blueprints. Scroll across to 'best of all time' and there's usually an easy-win 0.1 mile race you can do.
You won't get as much money or influence as doing a full race, but when you're unlocking wheelspins and cars for completing the challenges anyway, they ususally pay more than an average race does.

I run this on the PC using a wireless X360 controller and it worked perfectly since the game was released, now it's all messed up.
The LS which is mapped to steering now looks left and right even though the settings are correct, the triggers work OK but that's it. All of the default controller profiles appear to be the same, custom setup doesn't work.
Just tried a wired 360 controller and it's exactly the same.
Trying to avoid a re-install, any ideas?

Odd, I do the same and mine hasn't changed. The LS which is mapped to steering now looks left and right even though the settings are correct, the triggers work OK but that's it. All of the default controller profiles appear to be the same, custom setup doesn't work.

Can't you change it through settings?

Finally figured it out, I've been using Big Picture Configuration recently in Steam and if Steam's running then this causes the controller SNAFU in FH4. Can't you change it through settings?
I know it doesn't run through Steam but I normally have Steam running in the background, close Steam and the controller functions as normal.
I’m noticing a few cars with wrong interior view positions.
The worst so far is Z4 MC where you’re seemingly sat about 20cm too high and too far forward.
Has that been wrong for 2 years and just been left un-fixed?
Is there any chance these things get fixed? It kinda ruins driving the car as much in the game as it would in real life with a crappy driving position.
Speaking of the Z4 MC, I’m driving it in winter with stability and TCS off and it still seems completely pinned down.
Even the TVR Sagaris is almost impossible to break traction unless you really try hard.
Is there any ‘mode’ or tyre choice or setting to make the cars a bit more realistic and rewarding to drive quickly?
I’d looked to narrow the wheels or for summer tyres, but it seems you can’t go narrower, and I was already running summer tyres... winters would add more grip haha!
A shame on the tyres that they didn’t have a ‘sim’ type tyre like GT games do.
