Sorry everyone I'm not trying to take over, I think it's cos I'm now 6 weeks into furlough and I'm blatantly middle management which I had never realised before hehe

Id be more than happy with this, i think i said a couple of weeks ago a random number finisher should get to choose track and car, i think that's fair all round, everyone should get a go that way.

The Maser' is crap tho biggrin
How about 14th place this time gets to pick, as a random place? I think we've been averaging around 28 - 30 people a session, so it's roughly midway.
Good with me
I'm 14th this week tongue out , thank you for the nomination! I agree with Von on the circuit, Princes Street Gardens (road). Also agree the maser is crap (sorry Von). I was trying to think of a car that everyone would have, how about the Ford Focus Mk1 RS (2003) stock no mods?

Edit: If someone could check the leaderboard for existing PH times on B Class that would be great, as i'm at work atm.

Suits me. Hot hatch FWD are always fun on city circuits

Shall we say 12th chooses next time? I'll add it to the timing summary if so.

Princes Street Gardens Circuit A797 TVR Sagaris ABS ON Only

Thanks Cutters, wasn't expecting it to be me so I've had a look for cars/tracks.
We've not done Princes Street Gardens Circuit as has been mentioned, I couldn't put everyone through the Ambleside Village Circuit. biglaugh

For the car I was going to go with a LFA, but I understand people might not have it and it's £16M+ in the auction house. With this being Pistonheads, I've went with a box fresh A797 TVR Sagaris, cheap to buy if you don't have it (£80k) and it's just fast enough to be annoying on this twisty city circuit, lots of throttle modulation required.

With the assists and mods being so restricted, I can see this getting boring quickly, so don't mind if we shorten the challenge timeframe.

And I agree that 14th place gets to pick the next round. This should also be a stipulation of the next picker to choose a number each week. Good luck everyone. thumbup

Erm, I'm confused is it the Focus RS no mods or the Sagaris no mods?

Ah, appears this thread progressed a bit while I was checking cars and composing my reply.
I was working from Cutters comments at 8:44am. I don't mind which we do, although if I was picking an RS, I'd go for a MK3 as I actually have one. biggrin I've set a time in the TVR already if that makes any difference.

Okay Cutters please make a call on the car? I'll be happy with whatever he picks.

This is your call mate, if you want the Sagaris, Sagaris it is - someones already posted a lap in it anyway....

I’ve just done some laps in the focus but doesn’t bother me if it’s changed, happy either way

For those of you playing on a PC, there is an update today, and there are beginning to be posts on the official FH4 forum that it's not loading after the update.

I read it as the only aids would be ABS only (if wanted), no TC?

Sorry I should have made that clear. Everyone is to run with ABS On, no other assists and the car should stay as it was purchased.
This is for one week only and to put everyone on a level playing field. I appreciate that ABS on isn't the fastest way but it also means I don't need to learn to brake without ABS this week. tongue out

Good point. Manual only. Again, I can't be bothered to learn manual with clutch.

As I said it's only this round, I want to see where everyone sits below Cutters with everything being exactly the same. nerd
