Clip that depressingly shows how much time there is in my lap.

From that clip, I'd say every time you brake earlier than the ghost, you're faster on corner exit. Is there that much time to be gained?

When I nail it I’ve been 2 car lengths ahead out of T3. I lost a fair bit of time on this lap from the double right handed. Drifting around isn’t the fastest way!

The gap to cutters and everyone else is just vast, no idea where I can find that much time, I've followed Johnnie's ghost and can see where a few tenths are possible but not 4-5 tenths, the car is on its limit of grip even at those times.

I'm getting slower the more I try and can't even best myself. At least the v10 sounds good otherwise i think I'd have thrown my controller out if the window by now.

Strange how some weeks are really enjoyable for me and I can compete (the Edinburgh cross country as an example) whereas the last two weeks have just been frustrating, partly due to lack of available car, and this week just because there's something annoying about this car in standard form, it seems very inconsistent, one lap it feels really grippy, the next lap the back end steps out.

Well you know who to blame for that hehe

Also your time is not showing up again.

I had another go this morning, ABS on really helps in the hard braking areas, but it's still so hard to keep it from sliding! Still, 1.4 seconds quicker, can't complain!

Funny following a close ghost time to see the contrast in where people are making and losing time. I’m st at ABS, but can just match (and 1/1000) beat Steven into the first corner.

Well I put in a good few stints this afternoon, I'm done, can't touch the leader, have found this week really rather tiresome, think I'm getting season fatigue!, thank God for the V10 sound this week though.

Von, I've restarted the game three times to try and get my time to show, when I just looked it was on the board a 47:35 I think or there abouts.

Table after Round 8:

Well done to BadOrangePete for getting his first point on the board.

After 8 rounds, we are now in the second half of the season and thinsg are still close with a packed midfield.

Congratulations Cutters, a very, very impressive time set fairly early in the week. After a sporadic week I gave it my all yesterday but I just could not get closer than a tenth of a second, I could often be ahead of you on the first 2-3 corners but would usually lose out on the final corner, I only managed to beat you once (with a flagged lap obviously). Frankly I think anyone in the 47's was damn fast this week.

Another week and another cut of my points lead, the pendulum swings.....

Also as noted by Von, congrats to BadOrangePete!

Out of interest Von, How is the table looking for the same time as compared to the previous season?

I think I had a mid-high 48 in me, just not the time to sit on the xbox and get some laps in.
Still, might have some extra time these next few weeks......

Bugger just missed out on a point , so down to me to pick.

How about Super Gt class tuned to s1 900 on the Lakehurst forest sprint, all assists allowed.

Have fun DCWV40

Ouch, one little touch ruins your lap, so frustrating! Still, I managed 3.14.5 after 3 tries, so I expect Cutters will be in the high 2.59s before long hehe

I'm gonna start the week with a fun car, then change to whatever one seems to be the winner from Wed/Thur.
