Dunno if I have the patience for this week.
3 minutes is a long time for a sprint and I can see it getting frustrating very quickly.
Laid a time down anyway but it's by no means fast.
That might be you and me both. 3 minutes is a long time for a sprint and I can see it getting frustrating very quickly.

It looks like this track is a power one. I lose about 10 car lengths through the first 45 seconds, then overtake and get a 5 car length lead, then lose it again on the final straight. It's so much easier to set a consistent time with a car built for corners...(which I think is code for it's easier when you're going slower!)
On my first run with a car slung together to make the PI and without tuning, it was topping out at 176 on the last fast section to the finish, redlining in 6th. Sort the gearing out and 180+ is possible, maybe 190.
I was surprised that the Super GT class is basically just Aston Martin, Ferrari and Mercedes/AMG though. At first I thought it was just the cars I had in my garage, but no, the Autoshow is the same. Apparently the other cars aren't super enough .

There is always the issue of how hard to push it too, especially if you've made a good start and had a fast clean first half, it's frustrating to lose it on one of the final corners, but equally if not pushing then there is so much time lost one certain corners, that final hard right hander for example just before the straightish final section, make it flat out and it's excellent, but also easy to understeer and hit the barrierSpeed1283 said:

I'm struggling to build a decent car to catch up with Cutters (as usual!). I find my perfect ones are 904/905. Looks like I need to sacrifice a little power to make it easy to build a gap in the twisty bit. I find I need aero and springs to get a decent move on and get some time made up. Will be fine tuning a few car options tonight. jimmsy said:

What is the Stig/Hamilton down to now? As you learn the circuit more you can perhaps start to trade off handling for power. That's usually my approach, this takes some learning though.

I find I'm happy with the balance of my Vanquish now, but seems like I could drop aero for springs

Lol I guessed he'd be sub 3 by now. I was getting below 3:04 last night by my 4th-5th go, but to be honest I'm still playing around with cars. Unfortunately the Merc Black series isn't very good :-( I find I'm happy with the balance of my Vanquish now, but seems like I could drop aero for springs
