I was chasing your Maserati ghost all through lastnight, got the gap down from a second off to 0.2 off with the new setup and now you've sodded off up the leaderboard. Back to chasing other GTAs tonight
The maserati is really nice to drive, it just loses out on the straight.Drabbesttunic said:
Oh heck, think I'm going to have to try for a bit longer and just grind out some laps!
You are welcome to give my tune a try, i've made it what i think is quite driveable. It steers neutrally on the dirt and has a bit of lift-off oversteer to help on the 90 degree turns.
Try 10 laps with it.

I tried another tune from another on here and that was fab to drive so ill give yours a go tomorrow and see if I can improve a bit, I got into the 18s so am chuffed with that.
That's a fair old leap you've done already. 2 seconds ish is heaps round this track.I should have just chosen the Alfa for everyone

There are a few sections i just am not consistent at, the 90 right at the top coming from road to dirt and the hairpin left, the rest are there or thereabouts.

The perfect lap doesn't seem to exist. I've slightly improved my overall time this morning but messed up in a couple of other sectors that i had cleaned before. I should have just chosen the Alfa for everyone

I’m new to FH4 what’s the name of the group you all do the challenges in? Would like to join if possible.
Thanks.
Hi Andy, welcome! Thanks.
Search for PSTN in the club tab/section and click to join
Once you've done that, from the pause menu in game you will see the rivals tab.
In the rivals tab select the particular type of race we're doing this week (Dirt)
Then select this weeks track (Lakehurst Woodland Scramble)
Pick a car from this weeks category (Rare classics)
Tune it to this weeks PI level (A730)
If i've missed something just shout.

Andy, obviously you can tune/upgrade to the nth degree but...
If you want a competetive car setup out of the box for this challenge.
In the upgrade/tuning part of the garage you will see a button labelled 'find tunes'
A few of us have uploaded/shared our setups that you can apply direct to your own car.
You can tell they are ours when searching because the of the PSTN tag in our names and they will be set at A-730 PI.

I had a quick go last night and went 3 tenths quicker but clipped the last corner, which was highly irritating. Hoping to have another go over the weekend at some point.vonuber said:

That chunky corner fence post reminds me of the lamppost from the previous 4x4 Bronco/Jeep race we had. It's possibly made out of depleted uranium.
Finally managed to photograph the last of the 744 cars last night - pro tip for anyone trying to do it but doesn't want to purchase the DLC or spend £20,000,000 credits on some of the rarer cars at auction: go to Super 7 challenge browser and search for the name of the car you want and someone will have created a challenge using it during which you can get your photo.

The new electric car is in this weeks rivals challenge also. Handy way to get a pic. Cheers.Shinysideup said:
