Great course, I over braked for quite afew corners so have time to come off yet. Got lucky with traffic though on the first attempt
I've followed your ghost a few times, you've definitely got some time to gain with that big tail out moment at the beginning.

I'm losing time in the last few corners to the finish, staying with or ahead of the ghosts most of the way through the course and getting had at the end. Hopefully it doesn't come down to one car, it was 911 club earlier, me included, but they were different 911s smile .

I'm liking it so far, maybe for the novelty of having moving cars in the way instead of barriers to hit. I've been doing a good time a few times already, happy with how it's going and then CAAAAAARRRRR!!!!yikes

hehe

I played it safe with the elise GT1, it's very manageable for an S2 but it is clear that it lacks straight line performance. Easily another second or two in it though, but not much more than that unless I reduce the handling slightly.

Traffic is certainly an added challenge, particularly when it is on the exact point you are turning on. The section towards the end through the woods is pretty easy to mess up.. Pretty good fun at this early stage, I imagine it will get frustrating as the week progresses though.
That wooded section is where all my big accidents happen, there is a tree on the inside of one corner that I’ve hit countless times. I went for twin turbo and full weight reduction on my car it’s about 630bhp from memory. It has loads of rear grip but a fair amount of high speed understeer.

Impressive with the caterham though, I haven't tried one in ages but last time in did i hated the damn thing!
There's definitely some more time in the Caterham I think.

Made mistakes on a few corners so pretty confident I can take some time off myself.

I'm really liking the lack of barriers, allows loads more lines to take and much more forgiveness for the occasional bit of enthusiastic throttle dump.

Plus hitting a land rover through the trees on a blind crest is surprisingly not that rage inducing.

Has anyone tried AWD in their 911’s ? I’m really struggling to keep my GT2 in a straight line laugh

I did an AWD conversion on my gt3, does help quite a bit but it needs better acceleration

I only had 2 attempts last night in the 488 pista.

I'll dedicate a bit more time at some point, its a bit quick for me but echo the thoughts on lack of barriers laugh

I might give the van a run too just to see what it's like, and the Clios if they can get to S2 940 from A class hehe . I do like the range of cars classed as track toys, Camaro/Mustang, Ferrari/Lambo/McLaren, Caterham/Lotus/Mono, 911s, Clios, Ford Supervan biggrin .

The traffic has really got on my tits now.

I swear theres an algorithm that looks at how well you're doing and then spawns in traffic ahead of you on the fastest bends to fk you over.

I've got my sub 2 minute lap time, need a few days off now.

This is only a snippet, multiply the crashes in that video by a factor of at least 20 before I found a good vehicle and setup and got a good lap in.

AWD Cayman GT4 with the 4.0l swap and twin turbo’s absolutely rips along until I end up in the magnetic tree, or messing up the final bit after you turn left off the main rd.
