I’ve even set the filter on the map to only show the Street Scene races and I can’t see one on there which matches the name of this weeks challenge. Could it be that it might need to be unlocked? I haven’t done many Street Scene races. Andy_C77 said:

Cracking time in the Mustang Hardware. I switched to the Vantage last night which seems to have slightly better legs than the viper but it can't match the Mustang, you pull ahead from the moment I get into 2nd gear but the gap then stays reasonably constant throughout. Round 15 of 16

I tried more power at the cost of Weight but it didn't seem to make any difference, just made my corner speeds a bit worse.

It’s by far one of the most fun cars in the game no matter what the power!On a separate note this is a really fun week but also the most stressful week! Think I did about 30 attempts before getting a clean lap without a car appearing in the racing line in a corner

It's certainly not as bad as I feared, I normally hate Street racing on single player but that's generally because the unbeatable AI are pretty aggressive and often the lead car disappears, traffic seems worse in a real race too and there is often the weather to contend with too. I don't know why they can't do day time Street races sometimes as it would be a better experience. On a separate note this is a really fun week but also the most stressful week! I reckon there is another car on par with it but I haven't had the time to fine tune it yet, that is the E46 M3 GTR.
I've done the V8 engine swap (found the V10 way too nose heavy), 4WD conversion, race tyres, weight reduction, all the handling goodies and a tune to 888hp works well. It rinses the Mustang on the long straights but doesn't have the cornering finese, but I think a tweak on the diff and suspension would net a great time.
I'll have a proper go at the weekend with it but as I've said I'm taking a few days off from games as my work load has gone mental this week and I don't fancy staring at a screen getting frustrated by the traffic

I must say that the Porsches that I've tried have all been a bit disappointing.
ETA apparently an update is needed, which despite an excellent internet speed means I won't be on the game tonight. Why on earth are the update speeds so slow...
