Not sure if it's just me, but the options with the Williams seem mad!
I did one build as:
FWD
2.0 engine with turbo
Diff
Full weight reduction
Sports tyres
And could then add all the engine parts and the Pi stayed at around 742 and only went up after adding more handing options.
Its around 500bhp.... And near impossible to drive, with the traction control enabled, it's constantly on till 4th gear.
It's not the car I set the lap with....
As for the Clio, I had a play on Monday night but just couldn't get on with it, I don't know why, as you say, there are more options but it just didn't seem to handle the way I wanted. Maybe I'll need to revisit it.
Had real issues with the gravel section.

I've had that before where adding power doesn't raise the PI. My thinking is that you've taken it past the point the tyres can use any more power, so it won't get you any faster but will probably get you spinning around facing many directions all at the same time while you're doing it . I need to do a build with less tyres/handling and more power (but maybe not 500bhp...), I think my time on the board now is with no aero, I tried adding aero to what I had but it was way too slow on the straight. Not sure if it's just me, but the options with the Williams seem mad!

Think my time is without aero and like yours, with aero it's slower.
I could be ahead after the long straight but then be way behind after the gravel section. My time was more luck than skill.
I've dropped out of the points, the time I did early in the week was with a 205 handling build, 4wd, no aero, rally tyres, just a bit of engine mod to make the PI. I've tried more power, aero, no aero, FWD whatever, on the 205 and the Clio. I've been a mile off what I originally did, so I'm out.

I've only been on once this week, the clio i couldn't be arsed with, the 205 I went faster with a tuned standard fitment engine, 4wd and race tyres.Don't know if that'll help, I cant remember the mods exactly but if I get on tomorrow I'll let you know, bot sure if I'll get the time to play though.

Cover looks great, as per the previous ones.
Is there significance with the calendar pages flying off in the wind? The time travel aspect? (I can't recall if in the past you've indicated something to do with time travel?).

I think I’m stuck now, have tried various tyre / tune combos and can quite hang on to Kitch.
Does anyone know if aero set to zero is the same as no aero at all?
It's not the same I don't think. It's just useful for fine tuning. Does anyone know if aero set to zero is the same as no aero at all?
I'm out today otherwise I'd share my set up. 4wd, Rally tyres, thinnest at the front, max front aero, play with rear aero (to suit). Max weight loss and then just play with power and ARB.
My car isn't as fast as cutters in a straight line, suspect he's either got lesser tyres or more weight, but more power.

I think you need the aero to reduce the understeer, also adjust the front diff and don't forget to drop tyre pressures down a little.
How much would you say is a little bit?I try adjusting tyre pressure but it always seems to lose grip.

This helped me a lot, my previous time was set with FWD but getting the power down out of the corners was too difficult. I didn't bother with any front aero, also have no idea what I'm doing with diffs etc so that's all default.I'm out today otherwise I'd share my set up. 4wd, Rally tyres, thinnest at the front, max front aero, play with rear aero (to suit). Also, think I've been a little slower than everyone I've rivalled against on the straight.

I managed a sub 1 minute in front wheel drive but yes, beyond that I couldn't get the power down, although 4wd takes a chunk of PI which the 2wd tune is able to use on wider front tyres to help in the corners. You could also play with your gear ratios, in terms of speed I was hitting around 137 over the line, cutters ghost looked to be going 142-145ish.
