It's a pretty nice track I have to say, traffic not too bad. I'm trying to stick with just rear wheel drive again.

Thanks mate. There's definitely a 2:16 in the car/tune I'm using, I just don't think I'm skilled enough to extract it! V impressed with your time given you're not using 4wd!!

I've managed to drag myself to just behind you, I can probably just about match your current time with a perfect run but I think that would be it. Certainly not a 2:16 in my tune though.

Tried the Pontiac GTA but couldn't get on with it, it's the gearbox (4 speed). The moment I try and fit the race gearbox I lose 10 PI which seems a bit much!

I was 1.4 seconds behind Kitch with the Pontiac GTA RWD and the race gearbox would probably have got within a second given enough runs. Hang on, this was when Kitch had the 2:20 time in the Van for clarity, not been on since to see what you're running now!

Kitch is/was (I didn't go on yesterday and not so far today) 1:18:xx I think, he may be into the 17s by now though!


I'm assuming in 4wd you can get away with the stock tyres, but I can't imagine it's an easy drive and I assume there is a degree of understeer! In rear wheel drive stock tyres just don't cut it, you need the next one's up which of course limits the power Vs weight, but I suspect it probably corners better than the 4wd.

Think I'm on a 1:17.4xx now, and yep running stock tyre compound made slightly wider. Not the easiest thing to drive, especially the fast uphill section!

I feel dirty using this build as it's undrivable without TCS on... it is however within the PI limit this time.
