Sounds like there’s a lot of lifestyle wk in FH4, it’s target audience clearly isn’t blokes in their 30’s
I first though that during the character selection, not much age diversity there, certainly no option for a balding, middle-aged man. It's an arcade game, seems completely dumbed down and aimed at the under 20's almost. With excruciating load times.

Try as I might I can't find any mug to buy the second bloody Morris minor I've had from a wheel spin. Can see me ending up throwing it away. I'm convinced the game has a sense of humour, it seems to choose cars I hate for wins. I've had pretty much every ford going and as for beetles/camper vans. I could start a hipster car dealership.
Thanks to this post I went looking at the auctions. E28 M5, E34 M5, Volvo 242, and a Morris Minor all for less than 25k.I doubt I’ll ever buy a new car again

Has anyone managed to acquire a Black Cab? There's a slot for it in the auction house but I've never seen one there, as an AI racer, in the autoshow, wheelspin or any online match I've played.
Wheelspins - another “unicorn” like the Aventador FE!Not driven it yet but was thinking of fully modding it as high as it can go and then flipping it on the auction house. Funny enough I got the cab in a super wheelspin that also gave me the Lamborghini Diablo SV and the Aventador HE (a very rare 3 car super wheelspin!!).
Still searching the auction house periodically for the 2016 Aventador SV. Seen a couple of people using them in Forzathon Live events so they are out there. It just seems that nobody want's to sell them!
Another tip is to have a look at individual car skill trees. Obviously most just give the same sort of unlocks, but some of them have un-lockable cars that are not available on Wheelspins. Ones of note I have found are the R390 (unlocks the R34 GTR LM 'HE'), the 300SL Gullwing (Unlocks the SL65 Black Edition 'HE' ), TVR Sagaris (unlocks the 'HE' ) and the Muira... go and max out the Muira's skill tree and one of the Top tiles is the Reventon 'HE' and it is utterly bonkers!!!

2.5 mill back to zero
so last night, after the kids were in bed and i'd gone for a 5km run in the dark, i went for it.
up on the hills around the wind farm, going for a large combos of around 500k at least.
took 2 hours, although i got a couple of barn finds ( speed 12 , Yay!!), and i have 130-odd skill point thingys.
just got the daily challenges to finish off now.

I might give it another go tonight, switch the game to solo mode and see if that helps.2.5 mill back to zero

My place for racking up the points is the beach drag strip, the bunting between the lanes classes as wreckable landscape and it respawns quickly. A few runs fishtailing through it and the points tot up quickly.

looking at the car mastery skill points. is there a 'best use' for them?
i'm tempted to buy a Nissan R390 and use 90-odd points to unlock the GTR-LM.
are there any other good buys?
There are 5 in total at the moment. The one you have mentioned plus the following...i'm tempted to buy a Nissan R390 and use 90-odd points to unlock the GTR-LM.
are there any other good buys?
Muira = Reventon 'Horizon Edition'
300SL Gullwing = AMG SL65 Black Series 'Horizon Edition' (99 skill points on it's own!!!!)
TVR Sagaris = Sagaris 'Horizon Edition'
Maserati MC12 = MC12 'Horizon Edition
Edited to add... obviously you know that skill points are per car? You cannot use skill points earned with one car on another.
Unclear from your wording but you appear to be planning to buy a car and use skill points you already have?

So the points earned with my Landie cannot be used on another car?
I was under the impression that they could be used elsewhere? I'm sure i've used some on a new car.
Oh well, R390 needs to be bought and the grind will re-commence.
if the game wasnt so much fun, i'd have an issue.

Errr.... yes you can, can't you? Unclear from your wording but you appear to be planning to buy a car and use skill points you already have?
So I wasted £1mil yesterday.
Clicking through my barn finds to add them all to my garage, some message pops up and I just button mash trying to get out of all the menus.
Next thing I know I'm a million down and it sounds like I may have accidentally paid to restore it early.
Watch out for this one, didn't even realise it was a thing

I won a black cab on a wheelspin yesterday, it would probably be quite amusing to hoon about in it.You can use skill points earned in any car, Iv been buying the VW Type 2 HE on the auction house for 160k cr..... Applying a livery, Using my skill points to unlock the 2 normal wheel spins. (About 7 points IIRC) and then punting it back for 300k on the auction house.
ETA: It's a gamble buying on the auction house as some of the things can already be used by the previous owner.

Did a few more hours yesterday
Managed to get some Ferrari 250 type racer thing, value 10m ! (from a super wheel spin).
I have the D-Type also.
Very good, starting to build up a nice little collection.
Given that it's winter I have put 4WD on my M2, as well as snow tyres, and a 5.0 L V10

Yes you definitely can. Skill points are just a pot you have, not per car.
Then this game has some stupid glitches! Was out in a car and earned about 15 skill points, didn't want to spend them so carried on as normal and ended up changing to another car for an off road race. When I earned a couple of skill points I had a look at what unlocks that car had and spent the skill points. I definitely only had 2 skill points available as they were back to 0 after I unlocked the first two tiles.
Assumed it was per car after that as after switching back to the first car again with a race change the 15 points were available again
