I got on more with the lighter weight cars in this one. The 340R was great earlier in the week. Back on it lastnight and I gave the skylines a go and got nowhere with them, then the Morgan, which was a basically standard engine (maybe a flywheel and air filter or something to make up the last bit of PI, the rest was chassis, aero, tyres and 4wd drivetrain, it was around 1000kg or so. I got to 0.033 behind excessions, tweaked the aero and a few other bits in the tuning and eventually just got past. I tried to get brad's NSX that was next up, but nah, the traffic gots were against me again.
Was it just me that had a car going down the hill towards the first junction on 9/10 of the runs? Having to stay right to turn right there really didn't help

I managed to get back in front but it was a dirty lap so didn't count. Only by 0.062 though! Was it just me that had a car going down the hill towards the first junction on 9/10 of the runs? Having to stay right to turn right there really didn't help
The first two t junctions could make or break the entire lap.

No, every single run i had traffic down there but I haven’t been back on the xbox since Tuesday so couldn't even try the other stuff I had built up Fab selection of cars and well done speed for that freak time
Didn’t get too much chance to play this week but was a good week, traffic was awful though!

I got lucky and stumbled upon 'the' car I think, albeit a fair bit of tuning was required... to get the best out of the 620bhp 1.2 ton old skyline. It also helped that Cutters didn't get on since mid week of course.
Loved the track, decent mix of sharp and technical corners as well as a decent bit of high speed. Traffic on the first right hander was a given every time, after that provided I didn't meet one in the middle of the chicane or on the final fast left hander it was straightforward.
I was up by around 2 or 3 tenths on cutters time consistently then would meet a mini on a blind bend.
My final run I was ahead until the last sweeping left handed when a land rover forced me wide and into the telegraph pole.
Every single time; I ended up binning the controller and watching st on YouTube until the time came around.

I'm using the Veilside RX7 design because that's probably my favourite car from the movies, although i can't help but notice a few omissions from the list (Supra, S2000 and the civics for example)..... Quite a challenging circuit, those damn Street lamps and other obstacles don't half slow you down! I've met a transit several times on that tiny bridge crossing too.....
