One thing we could try for the next few weeks is rivals in the Showcase events. It's the 1v1 races against the 'not a Vulcan' bomber, hovercraft, train, Halo stuff and dirt bikes. If we are done with the main seasons now we can try these one a week? There's no car or pi choice on them, it's the set car for each event (Warthog on Halo, AM Vulcan for the bomber, Fiesta rally for the dirt bikes etc). The only one with a lot of times in the rivals leaderboard is the Fiesta v dirt bikes.

Awesome time this week cutters, and thanks von for the work you put in all season! I've really enjoyed this season in particular and have been able to compete nearer the front more regularly which is nice!

Pretty pleased to have done so well despite joining a little late in the season and really late in the overall championship.
The competition definitely adds a lot of life into the game as I'd pretty much stopped playing it, massive thanks to Von for all the organisation. Hopefully I'll be quick enough to win one if we do it for FH5!

Likewise, I was more interested in logging on to try this weekly challenge rather than complete single player! I've not even bothered with the Lego or Mountain side games despite paying for them.... My target after tonight is sub 3 minutes. A few things going on this week so I won't be on it much.
I had a quick go and if I recall I managed to sneak under 3 minutes, it's harder than I expected to keep clean, wet track and a rear wheel drive car! There's easily several more seconds in than my current time. Speed1283 said:

Yes you did, I was chasing for a while before packing up for tonight. It's the lack of grip out of the slow corners that's getting me, easy to spin the wheels and point the wrong way.
Good test of throttle control this one as the Astons a lively sod!
