Forza Horizon 4 !

Spring has sprung, the weekly forzathon involves getting 2m skill points in a VW Corrado (they're 20k if you haven't got one). So what's the best plan for that? I'm up to 65k after not very long tonight with a bit of handbrake drifting a few corners and general trashing of hedges and signs as I was buggering about looking for the spring barn find.

I was at The Huntsman's Lodge, I think it's called, in my Corrado - drove out of there and spent about 20 mins just sliding around the area next to that house - you get loads of 1000 point Lumberjack, Wrecking Ball, Kangeroo etc skills.. Didn't take long to build up a 400k x 5 combo

Remember to stop at every 100,000 x 5 to bank your skill points. (you don't build anymore skill points after 10)
Doing a 400,000 skill chain is wasting 30 skill points

My achievement for find all roads popped when I still had 2 to find. Rather pleased with that given the ordeal it was in previous games

Me too, got the last couple on the spring map, it's a lot easier to see the roads on there than the winter map. So the 2 missing roads must be somewhere? My brother's stat that pops up says he's found 530, I got the achievement at 529.

You think that's bad? I did the last one for 7 million skill points in one chain because my progress kept getting reset! Only learnt afterwards about the 500,000 limit and it only reset if you exited the game.

I didn't know that either. I lost 2.3 million to a reset at one point

Use skill points to get to 150% for clean racing perk then set up blueprint events using the Corrado

Go to the beach and powerslide through the drag race lane flags, easy 500k skill chains with nothing to hit.

Think I've got about 700 Forzathon Points banked, nothing from the Shop takes my fancy this week so I'll probably roll them over to next season

To be fair I do buy the occasional clothing item as I like to have the variety

But I never buy horns or emtoes, or any wheelspins as they're too easily earned anyway.

The Civic might be worth picking up this week though as it is a Forzathon exclusive, so a bit of a rarity..

Unlocked the barn find you get from the castle, which is the perfect car to finally use those otherwise useless top hats and moustaches with. Then I find out they don't appear when you're driving. Bah.
