Latest patch. When I breach hack a terminal and have to go through the code matrix to complete it I no longer get any music/sound. Sure I did before, am I wrong or not?

Not noticed but will try and remember when I jump in the game in about an hour. I think there was a comment in the past it might be removed or disabled by default (re-enabled in settings) as players felt is applied too much pressure.

- edit - just tested and I still get the sound/beat

I've finally started to play this. I bought it shortly when it came out but didn't bother with it due to all the issues.

It looks lovely. I'm playing it on a 4070 connected to a 4k TV (not a fancy one by any stretch) and it's running nice and smooth.

I've only put about two hours in so I'm near the beginning, and just met Judy and done my first Braindance!

Looking forward to taking my time, doing all the side-quests, and likely complete it in a few months!

If you want a more 'realistic/natural' look then I'm happy to recommend the following two mods from Nexusmods, both of which I saw on a number of videos. Both work together, first one I've been using for a few weeks, second since yesterday. The former can make inside a little grey in some scenes as the table lights lose a certain amount of their yellow hue

Started making an effort with this on series X this past weekend and I’m really enjoying it. If there is one thing I love in video games it is the in-game environments, set design and built-in real world mechanics and this game absolutely smashes this out of the park - it looks so freaking good and amount of immersive detail is insane. On the other hand I still need to get to grips with the perk trees and crafting.

I'm working my way through a second run and have just got into the Dogtown expansion (left it to play it as part of the main story). I have to say, the opening was excellent. Really enjoyed it and I love how different it feels. The mechanics work really well with Dogtown. I'm trying to jump between the other missions and then back into Dogtown and it feels seamless. Really good addition to what was already a great game and it's making the second play through just as enjoyable as the first.

A week or so ago I finally took the plunge and bought Cyberpunk 2077 half price from GoG.

Currently 75 hours in, Level 45, and trying very hard not to pitch myself into Act 3 and finish the game as I want to do all the side quests.

It's like a different game to the debacle at launch and is actually playable. Sure, it still has some jank and glitches, but totally tolerable.

My V has majored on hacking, and loves to throw Contagion onto a group of baddies and then watch them all infect each other hehe

Now I know this is a long thread and that you probably discussed this before, but has anyone noticed the common Easter egg reference between the Kusanagi bike and Judy's phone avatar when she phones or texts you?

(I'm assuming the style, colour, and decals of the Kusanagi need no comment)

Anyway, for anyone that didn't, Major Motoko Kusanagi is the protagonist of Ghost in the Shell, one of the seminal works of Cyberpunk. And Judy's avatar when she calls you is literally a ghost.... in a shell. And obviously the bike itself is a reference to Kaneda's bike in Akira.

I'm doing it now too and kind of hating the bit where the entire town is hunting you and there is an endless stream of baddies. I actually ran out of ammo and then died. And you can't save during combat and the combat it unceasing.

I think I need to re-think my strategy.
