It wouldn't be Bethesda if it wasn't a monumental fk up that needed a few patches to semi-fix. Got about 10 hours in to this and really the boredom never went away, ended up putting it on eBay. Don't think I've ever given up on a game this easily, it was honestly so dreary and boring. In solo it really doesn't seem to work.
Went back to playing Fallout 4 in survival difficulty and I already can't put it down!

I didn't even bother to buy Fallout 76 as I didn't much care for the idea of online playing, which would appear I had a lucky escape, it seems, by the number of very critical comments on Youtube that it was a complete disaster and they are still trying to milk everyone for what they can get.Went back to playing Fallout 4 in survival difficulty and I already can't put it down!
I too have fired up Fallout 4 again as I quite like it even after about 4 complete new re-started games. As I mentioned before what I'd like is for a tripling of the current map size along with as many enemies, not fussed about Far Harbour type maps just more of what is already there. Oh and better mods etc for us poor overlooked PS4 console owners.
Bethesda bans loyal player (I'm pretty sure he was the only one left) who finds, tests and reports an exploit to Bethesda so they can fix it.

Blimey. It's almost as if Bethesda have sit-down meetings to plan how they can fk up next. https://www.reddit.com/r/fo76/comments/dthe7w/map7...
Yet another st storm from them then. It is mental how they seemingly go from one major cock up to another.
Surely the company needs a whole restructure of management to limit these events. The whole episode since this games launch just smacks of pure ignorance, arrogance and greed all rolled into one.

I've been somewhat addicted to all the Youtube videos quite rightly shaming Bethesda over Fallout 76, which I'm pleased to say despite being someone who has bought and enjoyed all the titles from Oblivion through to Fallout 4 didn't buy Fallout 76 as the multiplayer aspect didn't appeal.
There have been some real dismantling of the Fallout series from many of these You-tubers who I would consider fans similar to myself. I have up until Fallout 76 pre ordered/bought every new game in the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series but following the dreadful way Bethesda have handled this whole business I will definitely not pre order another game in this series until it has been prevued and passed as acceptable to the general You Tube community.
Looks like The Other Worlds will be a purchase soon as the revues in general are good.

I wonder if the execs actually listen to this feedback which is so easily available nowadays or they just ignore it and carry on. I know money speaks, but this can't be sustainable for the long term. All this shambles just re-iterates how much I enjoyed the iconic Blizzcon moment where the fan had his say.

The gaming community is great at creating a decisive backlash but when companies get away with nonsense like this I wonder if we are still too soft. Remember when the Xbox One was originally due to come out being digital only? The huge backlash forced MS to do a U-turn, how great was that.

I have to confess I'm not very good at computer games so the idea that you could go round a difficult situation/enemy and come back later after you had messed around doing something else made both games very appealing to me.
Like I have said before the days of me pre-ordering any of the two titles are definitely over and I'll happily wait for others to pass judgement.

I get the feeling this was someone high up's pet project and has invested too much of their personal reputation into it to allow it to fail so they have been flogging the dead horse in a desperate attempt to prove they were right.I can see Bethesda announcing someone has 'left to pursue other projects'
