Hi all,

Have had my vessel rig for over 3 years now and think I would like to upgrade to a three screen set up. Pc and graphics will easily cope but is it worth it?

Any downsides? Any really big positives and is it easy to set up etc.

Set up will be 3 55” Curved screens

Thanks all

Couldnt say for myself, Im limited to one 32" monitor so rely heavily on the spotter in Iracing.

Not to throw a spanner in the works but the new pimax VR headsets are due to be released shortly. Think thats where im going to go.

Sounds excellent!

Can you also get little wing mirror screens for added realism??

Simple answer is yes.

I don't have the space for it, but would love to make the change. I race at a reasonable level and nearly everyone else uses either a 3 screen or VR setup.

I went from one screen to triples then to Oculus. I would say triples was my least favourite set up with vr being the best.

Try and go VR, yes you drop graphics but the only way I can describe it is driving on triples after 30 minutes I still knew I was playing a game in my spare room. 30 minutes in vr on the rig and I can almost convince myself I am on track.

100% yes. It adds a real sense of immersion over a single screen due to the extra stuff going on in your peripheral vision and also makes it easier to finely judge corner entry speeds. My setup is only using 24" screens so yours should be superb!

VR for me.

Fantastic value, doesn't take up a load of space and the immersion is worth it alone.

Right I have purchased the triple display stand from vesaro and will get the screens tomorrow. Hope it’s easy to set up on iracing and on my graphics card as I’m crap with computers!!

Cheers

What do you race in iRacing? I’m really enjoying the IMSA series at the moment.

See my reply to the question about Oculus or Vive: VR knocks triple screens into a cocked hat , and is cheaper too. For driving or flight sims it is a game changer. I love mine, I would never, ever, go back to flat screens after using VR

Mainly Imsa as well. Spent a long time racing in the old GT1 series when it was just the Corvette and the Aston, participation in this has really dropped now.

I still quite often go back to the Mazda MX5 just for some short fun races. Love using the h pattern and clutch, it’s really immersive.
