Just as a heads up for loot tables, encase people didn't know, the loot table especially at world tiers works on highest score you have in slot.

also, if you press back instead of escape whilst crafting it doesn't kick you out. Makes crafting mods etc a whole heap easier.

So if you have a rubbish 450 chest, and a great 390, wear the 390 and put the 450 in your stash. You still get the loot for the higher theoretical gear score but you keep your effectively better equipment.

Also by having a full set of random 450 gear in your stash, all of your characters have the same loot table options.

I have been enjoying this. Ok only on level 19 but i'm in no rush.
Went to help a mate who was level 30 on tear 4 and OMG what a pain. I got loads but was just the medic most of the time. Popped my head out, DEAD, respawn, but fun non the less

Enjoying it so far, but I really hope they sort out the DX12 crashing problems. I get an OK experience with DX11, but it seems AMD cards (I have a Vega 56) really benefit from DX12. It's worth ~15-20FPS at times for me (outside in a relatively dense area), and generally runs with far more consistent frametimes under DX12.

Anyone else managed many hunters?

I've got 9/12 masks. The Xmas tree spawn only dropped 3 annoyingly instead of 4, and I still need to do the 2 sneaky/1shot hunters. You cant do them as a group as the health scales too much.

I have 4 of the masks. I also only got 3 from the xmas tree Hunters but, I was re-spawning when the 4th Hunter was killed which may explain it (or, perhaps I just couldn't find it as they were very spread out by the end of the fight.) I must confess, I was totally carried - I was only level 28 and joined friends in WT4 when they did some Hunters. My role was to distract and die....over, and over again hehe

I'm now at a more respectable level and up to WT4 myself. Did my first level 3 control point this morning. Much harder to solo than I had anticipated so, I called for backup for the first time. Worked brilliantly - another agent spawns in and between us, we managed to clear it (thanks Leon4744, wherever you are). Didn't get the mod I wanted but, enjoyed the fight immensely - makes such a difference when you don't need to be shooting in two directions at once!!

I found this out yesterday. I was a level 221 and ran a retaken mission with the 3 boss drops and couldn't figure out why my gear was only dropping about 225ish although everything I was wearing was 250 plus. Turns out I had a level 16 side arm attached which I never use. I changed that out and my gear score went up to about 251. The 2nd mission was dropping gear around 255-265.

Its a bit of an overlook from The Division because I don't always wear my max gear as I am looking at the perks on my armor.

Destiny 2 has it right and will drop at your max level regardless of what gear you have attached.

Great game and so much to do, it just continues and continues and I am always looking for the loot to drop my favorite AR with a higher gear score. I currently craft the Famas as I have not had a good one drop in days just to keep it up with my score.

Made T3 over the weekend and just have the Stronghold to get to T4 to do.

I found the early tiers really difficult, but oddly as I've progressed the last couple of missions, I have found a good play style and been having a (reasonably) easy time of it.

My weapon of choice is one of the big LMGs - really chews through even the heavily armoured elites in 2 clips! The Demolition grenade launder is amazing too. I expect it to be nerfed at some point!

I've been using LMGs extensively although, was using a GS438 purple on until yesterday as it seemed like every yellow LMG that dropped had a tiny mag. Finally got a 100mag yellow so, up to GS 452 now. Should get the Chatterbox tonight so, looking forward to seeing what all the fuss is about - just need another Hyena key or two. I have 2 of the components so, just need the mod components and that should be that.

I also finally had a .762 extended mag drop from a level 3 control point so, don't feel like I need to grind those any more. Just looking for a good AK M now to put it to good use smile.

Looking forward to Friday and WT5 shoot

Any tips on doing that stronghold (end of T2 - Roosevelt Island)? We must have tried it 20 times last night, and whilst we could get past the first lot of enemies in the docks fairly consistently, once the 2 helicopters turn up we were just annihilated every time

And gear score?

I can't remember the mission being overly hard in my mind. Are you sure its Roosevelt island? You can do the 3 strongholds in any order to level the WT's up, I worked left to right for my WT2-4.

If anyone's on PC, happy to run through any missions you need.

Gear score is 350, we did the Judiciary Square stronghold to go from Tier 1 to 2, now doing Roosevelt Island. It’s the final part of the stronghold in the docks where you have to open the containers and blow st up - We cleared all the blacktusk along with their robots, then blew up the containers after which 2 helicopters came along with loads of yellow baddies, and this is where we died, every time

Yeah, that last area can be a bit overwhelming. Top tip - try to make sure you destroy both the tanks at the same time so that everyone in the group can be ready to engage the enemies when they spawn.

The tanks are a real pain in that end bit. I'm very much a "camp in one place" type of player but on the docks you have to keep moving and try to get behind them to take them out quickly. Having the grenade launcher for non tank elites really helps too - you can one shot them if you get it on target and have all the demolition bonuses. Take out any enemies on the chain guns at soon as possible too - they can really ruin your day! I much prefer indoor firefights!
