It is rather something on the PS5....Amazing graphics boost, smooth fps and reasonable load times....
I second this. I completed the story on PS4 but find myself dropping in for a drive around. I’m thinking about starting a New Game+ over the Christmas break.

Can you confirm if you do whether you think the graphics and load time are much better on the PS5?

I had an SSD in my PS4 Pro and don’t really notice the load time. It may be very different but I don’t recall.

The graphics/frame rate are much better on the PS5. That’s why I drop in for a ride around.

Interesting as I have just downloaded Fallout 4 on the PS5 and despite having a Pro before I think the graphics are better, crisper and the load time is about 8 seconds to fast travel instead of 25 or so on the PS4.

I couldn’t get my PS4 Fallout 4 save to work on PS5. It’s a shame because I still have some DLC missions to finish and would like also to take a look around without starting the whole game again.

Smoother and load times are better in my experience - and can be seen here. Not mind blowing but definitely noticeable when playing.

Yes I think that is basically the same as Fallout 4. I was certainly impressed at having 100 plus zombies chasing me that the frame rate etc was all good.

To be fair on the PS4 Pro the frame rate was always pretty smooth I will be interested to compare the gfx when I get a PS5 bit that won’t be for a while.

I loved Days Gone, bit of an under appreciated classic I reckon.

Yeah same. I played it through on PS4 Pro and it always ran well. Well enough to provide vertical testicular movement whenever I discovered a horde.

I will play it through again when I get a PS5 next year.

Bought this after seeing all the praise it was getting on the your game of the year thread on here.

Never been a fan of zombie/horror games but this is superb.

Hardly stopped playing it the last week or so, its so immersive.

Definitely under appreciated.

I am playing it through again on a harder setting. Mainly because there aren't "better" PS5 games yet..

Really hoping there will be a sequel.

I’d say don’t read any guides and learn on the go as generally it’ll make it more of an experience. You’ll probably feel a bit awkward and underpowered to start with but soon get the hang of how things work in “the sh*t.”

Well I've given it a couple of hours, it was starting to grow on me but I must admit I'm rapidly getting bored with it.

Does it get better?

Yeah. Stick with. Copelands camp is slow to start. Get a few nero bases under your belt and it opens up.
