It's ugly AF but very detailed, definitely worth it.

Better looking than the JU-52 IMO! I've got that as well, Holding off on the Fokker triplane and the Dornier flying boat ATM. Hopefully someone churns out a decent DC-3!

This preview was from January 2021 so it can't be too far off - https://msfsaddons.com/2021/01/26/aeroplane-heaven...

Trying to decide on the AH DC-3 when it arrives later this month,or the Concorde.
"Why not both?" my inner pilot asks. "Aaaargh" goes my wallet

Anyone else tried the Concorde yet? I bought it on Xbox today and it’s bloody good.

Edit after a few more flights:
Had a couple of F18s try to intercept me as I was at Mach 2 going to Scotland and they couldn’t get as high or fast enough hehe

It’s an absolute bd to land though!

Hello all. Late to this party but finally here.

I'm playing this on my Xbox one (really!) via game pass.

There's quite often a bit of lag, if that's the right term, for the graphics to catch up. Is this likely to be Xbox related, or internet speed related? My speed is around 60mbps.

I'm really enjoying playing and want to upgrade the Xbox but wondering if my internet speed will continue to be an issue?

My internet speed is way, way slower than yours and it runs fine for me.

The Xbox has a lot of issues with this, as does PC. One thing it does do well is the data streaming which is pretty much always rock solid.

Broke their website it so popular. hehe

They’re going to be selling A LOT of these at that price. Especially when it hits the marketplace for Xbox.

If you’re playing it on Xbox One, do you mean through streaming rather than downloading the game? My internet is high speed fibre and even still, streaming games can be very laggy sometimes especially a game like MSFS!

If you upgrade to Series S/X and download the game to hard drive you will have a much better experience, that speed is absolutely fine for it thumbup

Yes it's streaming through game pass.

I think I do need a series X. My daughter can have this one. It's for the good of the family biggrin

haha just had a go at FS after a few months. Load up the Cessna 152 at Malta. Took the parking brake off and opened the throttle. Wheels went around and aircraft didn't move biggrin I might just delete it not worth the disk space.

Does anyone have a key map of the Thrustmaster sidestick Airbus edition that MSFS 2020 applies on default ?. I would like to have a print out at hand to know which button on the stick is assigned to in the sim or that I can customise myself.

The Top Gun DLC got released today which includes;

- An F-18 ‘Maverick’ livery
- Three training missions for the F-18 including unrestricted take offs, split s manoeuvres and low altitude, high speed flight through complex terrain
- Five high speed, low level flight challenges that take you through mountains and canyons
- A carrier landing challenge
- A fully flyable Mach 10 capable aircraft named the ‘Darkstar’
- A mission to reach stratospheric flight in the Darkstar

I’ve had a quick flight in the Darkstar and it’s bloody fun. Climb to 30k, pitch down a bit to get to Mach 1.3 then activate the fuel cell (little windows looking button on the bottom right of the pfd) and the scramjet (little switch under a red cover to the left) and you will very rapidly climb in altitude and Mach number. I took off from Heathrow, got up to Mach 10 and FL2000 (not a typo) and landed in Gardermoen in Norway within 10/15 minutes, great fun!
